[News] Breshad Perriman Returns To Practice, Says He Feels Good

32 posts in this topic

Well there is so much hope and anticipation with Breshad Perriman that any time he is nicked up the Ravens Nation acts like parents of an infant having a coughing fit! All good because that shows we care and that Perriman is a star waiting to emerge.

Knew he'd be ready by Sunday. Ppl have reason to be speculative BC of last year but they also should relax a little bit. I expect him to have a coming out party this Sunday.

When he missed practice due to injury, the collective moan from fans probably set off car alarms across the city.....now that he is back, the collective sigh of relief most likely set them off again....glad he's back, let's get this! GO RAVENS! 25

You know what gets me? This guy has caught exactly TWO passes for about a whopping total of 21 yards. That's it folks. Yet, people believe he is the second coming of Jerry Rice and the media talks about him like he is some kind of wunderkind. Lets wait until he actually does something on the field before we all get so excited about him. As far as I am concerned, school is still out until he proves he is worthy of that number one pick. Still waiting.

He's going to be very good. Baby steps first people. He needs time to get on the same page. It could take a couple more games for that to happen. So be patient please. It will work out.

I'm with you. He has one catch as does Chris Moore. Breshad a #1 pick Moore a #5 pick. I hope he turns into another Dez Bryant type of receiver, but until I see a big upswing I'll hold my evaluation.

Well his catch went for 35 yards, and was top 5 for the first week....No idea why so many doubters. So much made up about his 1 drop as well....Well SSS had a drop Pitta had a drop and gets a pass....Pitta missed 17 months, Perriman missed his rook season, give the guy a break, and stop hating....

More hype than production at this point. Don't get me wrong, I wanna see Breshad become one of the top receivers in the league. I want to see more contributions before I anoint him.

Glad you are feeling better Breshad. I hope you have a big game against the Browns. We need to avenge last season's loss.

He will be, I'm sure of it. His first catch was a doozy and I believe it's only the beginning. They're just bringing him along slowly to be cautious. I don't believe we've ever picked a WR in the 1st round and we want to be sure he's brought up right so he can be the second coming of Jerry Rice! :-)

With all due respect, one great catch does not make one deserve a mention in the same paragraph with Smitty or Pitta. I love Breshad's potential, but let's keep things in perspective. We all hope he becomes our breakthrough homegrown WR.

His limited action is due to limited time practicing. Gotta know what to do before any coach will give you live game reps. It's not about cautious at this point.

By watching the Jets vs Bills game. It looks like the Jets might cause us fits. They're pretty good especially their offense. Good to see Perriman back in practice. Prove doubters wrong Perriman. ?

The Jets look competitive and they put up I think 37 on the bills D. So our O definitely needs to find it's rhythm if we plan on making a run.

Forte had 30 carries for over 100 yds. with a couple of receptions too. We'll have to contain Forte.

Thats not really all that impressive of a stat line. Its only 3.3 yard per carry.

believe me,i really hope PERRIMAN turns out to be a great weapon, but i rarely see him get seperation in practice or games,am i missing something or seeing something noone else is seeing, please tell me i'm wrong,i do see seperation for CHRIS MOORE though,he says he's better on gamedays than he does in practice,i hope they give him a shot and not just base his playing time on what their seeing in practice,he's one of those guys that has a knack for getting open and playing faster in game mode.

it's good seeing REX and ROB together on the sidelines,i hope they don't get fired and get a chance, their good for the league, their defense minded coaching.

I think having purple bandanas/terrible towels would help out the team tremendusly at home and away games like it does for pittsburg, the team could make alot of money selling these or an enterprizing young person could as well, this could really help out young players like perrimans confidence and stanley seeing all that purple waving at away games.not sure if anyones ever thought of that before.

Bills were worn down from playing the Ravens last Sunday.

It is when you score three of the touchdowns...  and we're not counting his receptions.  So, tell that to Matt Forte... I'll take those points on my fantasy team too....  *shrugs*
