The way Tyrod's runs it's amazing he doesn't tear an acl  he looks so awful scrambling

My concern with him is getting concussed. He's taken some shots on these runs.

he was awesome last year.

Whos to say flacco would have made it on another team? our D carried him for years. He never made our offence great even though he had a very good o line for most early years.

He chocked for them last year, against this same defense. Guy hasn't even made the playoffs and he had a great defense last year along with a good one in Houston. The guy had Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins to throw to in Houston and JJ Watt on defense and he couldn't make that work. I mean the Texans even made the playoffs the next year with Hoyer as their primary guy. Brian Hoyer. Maybe the Jets should bring him in if they want to go anywhere this year.

Also 2012 and 2014 ringing a bell in regards to Flacco? Those were average defenses at best. And the only reason we don't know how Flacco would do somewhere else is because Flacco doesn't have to go to half the teams in the league to finally find a system that suits him.

there will always be an excuse for flacco. Im just saying fitzpatrick on the eye test is more accurate and makes better reads. It happens..

But their secondary?

What about their secondary? You mean Revis giving up a big play? He'll recover and come back from it.

Again match ups. Think about the venerable Bills secondary that gave up 400 yds passing to Fitz. These things happen every now and then. As an example the first 8 games of the Ravens secondary was atrocious, but they were one of the better units down the stretch last year despite their record.

Will you at least admit that as inconsistent as Flacco can be, he's money in the play offs?

Flacco has a higher career completion percentage and lower career interception rate. Completion percentage advantage goes to Flacco in 2015 and while Fitzpatrick was better in regards to interception rate(2.7 vs 2.9 percent), Flacco's 2014 and 2012 season blow Fitzpatrick's 2015 out of the water(2.2 for 2014 and 1.9 for 2012).

I am not one of those people to go crazy saying Flacco is the best QB in the NFL or anything(Aaron Rodgers in a "Down Year" had a 1.4 interception rate and completed over 60% of his passes for comparable yards and TDs to Fitz with much less to work with while I am digging through stats here) but I'd take Flacco in a heart beat over Fitzpatrick.

I don't know honestly, this is his second game in a row giving up a big play like that and he was awful against AJ Green, granted it was against AJ.

Honestly he put him at 12 which isn't as bad as a diss as others have. But Fitzpatrick? Lol. Game ending INT is how I know him, he can never beat a good team, case and point, last week vs the Bengals.

In fact, after seeing this game play out I'm very irritated they didn't beat the Bengals when the Bengals weren't at full strength. This year is going to be obnoxious

Two things.

1) This is NOT a Flacco thread so take that discussion elsewhere.

2) :feedtroll:

So we should feed the troll elsewhere? ;)

And with one post, every argument crumbled.

The lauded "eye test".

We face these Jets in week #7 at their house.

after watching them play, this game has me a little concerned right NOW.  We'll see if they come back down to earth and then maybe I'll feel better about it.

If that was us though, we'd be blaming Pees for that loss.  Not Joe.

So the Colts going to be in another shootout against the Broncos? Colts will be missing three players in their secondary, Vontae Davis(out til October), CB Patrick Robinson and Safety TJ Green. Also ruled out is Defensive Lineman Henry Anderson. This might be Trevor Siemian's coming out party.

Wheels have fallen off the Bills' wagon and we're only 2 games in.

Now the domino effect has started. The Bills have fired Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman and promoted Assistant Head Coach Anthony Lynn to Offensive Coordinator to replace him.
