Perriman

It doesn't mean anything if he can't catch it in bounds or drops some of those deep balls.

As a rookie the best way to learn is to make mistakes. It was close as well, body control & concentration is definitely something he can improve on with more game reps.

The catch he made against Buffalo was a play I've never seen a Ravens WR make, it's a play only a guy with a large catch radius and great athleticism can make. The lack of overall production at this point is certainly disappointing but really that's the case with a bunch of talented players in Trestman's offense. Don't be surprised if Breshad has a spike in production under Mornhinweg as we hopefully see the re-birth of the vertical passing game.

I will give Perriman the benefit of the doubt for now. He dropped one TD throw and has to keep both feet in on a winning TD throw.

AJ Green when he first came in to the league had a decent number of drops .

That's all anyone can do at this point. He clearly shows a ton of potential. And he is playing exactly the way he always has -- makes electric plays that only elite WRs can make, and follows it up by dropping a pass while wide open.

Perriman needs to step up his play but he isn't the only WR dropping passes around here.

Wallace, Moore...really disappointed with the drops from them

At critical times no less, I've seen at least 3 tds dropped.

DT is a pretty good comparison actually. If he turns out that good, it'd be a success.

That's been my comparison since day 1

Perriman has had some good and some bad. Thats's to be expected for his first real season. As long as he stays healthy and keeps on giving full effort, I don't see any reason why he can't start to make some drastic improvements as he adjusts to the league.

Still believe in Perriman. It's the concentration he needs to work on, and that'll come with experience. It was a nice catch actually just needs to get that foot down.

Same here. Thomas has been heavily criticized throughout his career for his tendency to drop passes.

So you're comparing the 4th overall pick with the 26th?

How should I start?

4th overall who's has 2 training camps and a full season working with the same QB?  When Perriman has has neither? Let's start there.

If he was a mid round pick, I wouldn't care as much. But spending a 1st on a WR who's known for the drops? And what does he do finally in live games? Of course, drops balls.

Hey bud, breeze through this article when you have time.

He has not shown a bit of evidence of being worth the value of why we kept him for 2 year and never playing and getting paid. He could have made the game if he had only wanted to catch the pass from Flacco. It was on the money, Perriman was not.
