Numbers say RGIII was a more favorable matchup for the Ravens than Josh McCown. The NFL’s top two guards in Week 1 are familiar to Ravens fans. Elvis Dumervil itching to come back. Ravens reach injury settlement with Michael Campanaro, which means he could be re-signed after Week 9.

They need Urschel to play Center and sit Zuttah if he plays like he did on Sunday.

Gotta give the O-line time to gel.  We're starting 2 rookies on the left side and to throw a new center into the mix and then expecting them to run on all cylinders is a giant task.

Harbaugh says they don't need Preseason games and they get all need in practice. What say you? Obviously they need to Practice better than what we saw on Sunday.

I personally feel that while practice reps definitely help, they don't compare to the experience earned during a game.

Eric Weddle just fits here, doesn't he?

He does.  Can't recall the interview, but he said he feels like he's been here his entire career.  That it was a perfect fit for him.

Can you imagine if SSS and Weddle would have spent their entire careers here?  We would have probably never had to experience

the Lee Evans drop.

Personally I am just plain tired of the ineptness of the Offense whether that is the line or Joe Flacco. I always get so excited in Preseason thinking this will be the year. NOT! Same old same old. Offense goes into a shell and doesn't do squat.

Yeah, if only... fun to think about, I'm definitely glad they are here now

Yeah way too much overreaction to Zuttah having a bad day, particularly when we haven't really seen any good days from Urschel at center.

If Zuttah played outstanding last year I might give him a pass for the one game but he didn't and is suspect in my opinion.

He was actually very good last season before getting hurt. That's the point. Was easily one of our better offensive lineman.

It's like these people want to dive back into the Gino Gradkowski days

Zuttah was injured and missed games last year, i'm not going to say he is horrible, as he was a key upgrade when we got him....We all know it will be Urschel's job in the future or near future, but i have no issues with Zuttah....

It's just one week I know but the country can keep jumping on the Steelers' jockstraps all they like. We all knew their offense would be good but that defense just proved exactly what most of us already knew about it. A better team would've made them pay for giving up almost 400 yards. I think the Bengals take it next week on the back of a defense that can actually get after the QB.

Urchel played worse than Zuttah last year. Heck, Urchel played worse than Jenson did last year. Yea, center is a cerebral position, but you also need to have the strength. When Urchel didn't have help from a guard, many of the times he was put on skates into the backfield. It is possible that he gained some strength in the offseason, but with him being injured for so many weeks its hard to tell how he is going to do in a real game. That said, I read somewhere today that he was cleared to play, so it will be interesting to see where he fits. If Zuttah really struggles in the game they could most definetly take him out. What I am unsure of is the fact that the depth chart (yea I know its unofficial) has Jensen as the back up center. The reason for this, I assume is that Urchel was penciled in as the starting left gaurd before his injury. Because he was the starter I am sure he got all of the reps at the guard position. I just wonder if he as able to take any reps at center. That is all speculation though. We may just have to wait and see.

We don't really know if Urschel is an upgrade over Zuttah quite yet. He's smarter for sure mathematically speaking, but it is to be determined if he will actually be better.

So nice reading this site yesterday and today and not seeing a list of injured Ravens. Wishing n Hoping they stay healthy this season. Re the Ravens offense ... yes, it was offensive, and if 20 points per is the best they average this season, well then, we're in trouble. This is an offense-oriented league and if they can't average 27 ppg, they will not be playoff contenders.

Steelers looked good, no doubt about it, but last year the Steelers played us with a lot more weapons and we were a lot worse and still came out 0-2. Ben has a psychological block when it comes to the Ravens defense that he can't seem to push through. Lets hope that continues.

I watched the game again with a lot of the plays in slow motion and Zuttah did not seem to me to be moving well. Don't know about last years injury but I do know that Urschel looked a lot better when he was snapping the ball last year.

I am very worried about the play calling on offense. There was at least 4 maybe 5 quick pitches out to the running back and even Joe commented on it in his after game presser and the pundits have been talking about it as well. What worries me is remembering that Cam Cameron use to have these mental blocks as well but his was the end around. We would do 5 or 6 end arounds in every game. There wasn't much creativity both in plays and formations and it just is sadly reminiscent of the Cam Cameron days which we were hoping to leave behind. I felt both the run and pass calls and formations were extremely vanilla. Good thing Joe checked out of Camerons, oops, I mean Trestmans called play and made that throw to Wallace or we might have lost that game. Joe needs to do more of that.

He also said they need to scrimmage other teams. Its more controlled.

Maybe I am being unfair to Zuttah? Still didn't like how the Offense played on Sunday. All the hype in Preseason. Joe finally has weapons and we lay an egg. We won but it is one of those wins where it feels like a loss offensively. I expected so much more and got so much less. Yes, I was jumping up and down when Wallace scored and Perriman and Dennis Pitta had catches but not much after that and it still bothers me here on Tuesday.

When exactly can we expect Dixon and Doom back. These two will augment our roster for sure.

Pretty sure Doom is week to week and I think I read that Dixon may return around week 5 or 6

I'm guessing that Dixon probably comes back the same week Waller comes off suspension.

I would be surprised if Doom is back by week 3.

Agreed.... It is week 1 and Zuttah is also coming off of an injury. Too small of a sample to over react to. If Zuttah is still struggling going into week 4 then we can re-visit this but I agree with you that Zuttah and the entire OL (offense for that matter) is a work in progress... I believe that we will see improvement!

Fand will be fans. I'm quite sure Harbaugh, Trestman and Castillo treat him like they should.

it always seems i think we upgraded soooo much every off season and noone in our division can possibly be better than us,then i watch CINCI give away all their key players and win with one receiver even though dalton sacked 8 times, then watch PITT. dismantle the SKINS with an offense that i thought we would look like, lot of quick strikes and their secondary was not suppose to look great and then i hear their not even at full strength? plus all in our division have better O-LINES,where does that put us again? 3rd in the AFC north,i guess their right? sucks,we just can't win!
