Yea... It's called colorblindness. And if you would have bothered to read the article in your quote you would understand and hopefully wouldn't have made such an insensitive comment. Just because something doesn't affect YOU doesn't mean it isn't worth addressing. 

The NFL got tons of complaints because fans couldn't follow their team. The Jets vs Giants game ticked off a lot of fans (colorblindness is prominent in men, the majority of fans) because they couldn't tell who was who. 

Colorblind fans should be able to watch their team without confusion and this wasn't a problem until color rush. Good on the NFL for putting in the time to research this stuff after they realized they messed up

...which is somthing the NFL should have taken into consideration before letting Nike go on with this "color rush" idiocy for the pure sake of selling more jerseys, isn't it?

I think it's a shame for the NFL that it apparently didn't occur to them that there are people with this kind of eye problem - and not for those who are unfortunate enough to suffer from them...

I would like to see GOLD all the time,but again i always thought our uni color should be ROYAL PURPLE,it goes much better with the team theme.

That jersey looks slick. I really love it. I love how the gold numbers stands out with the jersey and the purple pants. In my opinion, these jerseys should be our standard jersey. :-)

Let me putting into this, the color rush jersey should be our new jerseys. The purple with the gold number accents and purple pants look slick and fits well. We could also make black pants with purple strips on it. With the black and black uniforms could be nice if we have the purple number accents with it. Also make purple pants with black strips. These are good ideas.

I don't like the gold at all with the purple. Color Rush or not, everything gold on these uniforms should have been black or white. The gold and purple reminds me too much of the Vikings uniforms. The vikings color rush uniforms are purple with yellow numbers and stripes. What did they do, make one uniform and just interchange the Ravens and Vikings uniforms by swapping out the name.

Garbage. All purple is okay but get away from the gold. The gold is meant to be an accent color not a main color. Nike is awful at uniform design. They didn't get the memo gold pants suck, because the color is awful for a main color. This probably took them all of 2 seconds as it is the same as existing uniforms with color change only.

Should have done a camouflage purple instead since the Ravens are all pro military and navy base close by.

Could have even added the feathers over the shoulder caps or something.

IMHO Black on Black is still the best and should be picked over this lackluster design.

Keep purple pants but again remove that awful gold stripe non sense and return to black over white.

IMO the nike designs all look like they need a few more weeks in the design room. I know they make 12 jerseys for Oregon every year, but there is no cohesion in the designs, just a bunch of odds and ends thrown together. I am probably a bit biased, but all of the designs that UA does for Maryland just seem to have all of the kinks worked out, and are pretty impressive. UA does do a lot of designs for MD each year, and every once in a while I see one that could use more work, but all in all I think they do great job. I think the biggest problem with this desire to use the gold on the pants and now for the numbers, is that its just an ugly color and was never meant to be used so liberally, It looks fine when its used sparingly to outline logos and in the shield and other small things.
