Devon Hester looks really really slow . I'm not sure he's the answer for us .

If you were expecting 2007 Hester you were always going to be in for a disappointment. He's gotta make some better decisions though.

He only got like 3 real attempts and even then the coverage team was on him pretty quick...The Bills punter and coverage unit is one of the best

He's slow  . Now I know why he was released .

Of course I wasn't . But he has lost way more than one step . Rather see him cut and try someone like Chris Moore back there .

We saw some good runs and some big plays and generated plenty yards and ToP on offense (We had neither last season). I don't know why people are so down on Trestman. It's Joe's first proper NFL game. I see the potential and think that our offense will be just fine. Lets see how things work out against Cleveland.

Of we are gonna smash Cleveland. Watched their game vs Philly. They looked like hot steamy garbage from top to bottom.

That means we'll beat them by a FG.

I wouldn't say slow. He still got a pretty quick burst just wasn't that much opening for Hester.

Good. A game for Joe & Co. to regain their confidence. Really, we could start the season 5-0, imho.

I really want to watch the All-22 tape when it comes out. Aside from a slightly frustrating run-pass balance, I think Trestman did a good job of taking the plays the Bills secondary gave him. He kept them on their toes a lot in the first half (and that 4th down failure mostly owed to a missed holding call so I don't think that was a trainwreck of a decision), and after a rocky couple of drives he managed to start moving the chains again in the 4th with some solid dink and dunk plays. I agree people are being a little hard on him over the way we stalled in the 3rd. We'll see how things play out from here, but I'm confident we'll look more dynamic as the season wears on.

Shareece Wright was surprisingly aggressive. I thought he had a great game.

This was somehow reeled in. What a way to earn your first career reception.

I'm just glad to see the Ravens make big plays again. This is a dimension, that our offense was lacking last season.

The Good: Shareece Wright, he played a monster game and was magnificent, I don't know if he allowed anything and against the run he was fantastic. No big plays either. Buffalo is a great deep passing team and we held it down.

The Bad: Missed opportunities. Missed sacks, missed tackles for a loss, and the run game struggled some.

The Ugly: The offense after the second half. Low energy, guys disappeared and some guys didn't step up either. Hope that changes against Cleveland.

I was at the game and it's not always easy to pay attention to these things due to the in-person entertainment value but I thought we were pressing to get Steve Smith Sr involved and the Bills knew it. It looked like we really tried to hard to get him the ball. That's just my opinion. Also, the offensive line looks a bit rough in the middle and I don't know why but maybe it's just chemistry now that we lose KO and Monroe. Flacco looks kinda iffy but give him time.

Wallace and Perriman looked really good. They both need work and so does Moore but I like our WR corps.  They look like they'll grow in the season.

As for defense, I didn't see a lot out of ZaDarius.  I felt like he could've played better but he is coming off a recent injury himself so we'll see. Pass rush was a real problem. Did Correa play? I don't recall seeing him. McClellan will be doing laps for his gaffe imo.

I think Jimmy and the secondary played well since there was a lot of time back there for Taylor to be comfortable.  It's hard to cover for as long as they seemed to have.  The Bills are very strong in the middle of their OL.

No explosiveness . Several friends at the stadium said the same thing .

Need a youngster back there , sorry .

Yeah, there was still a lot to improve on but I really love how we got Wallace involved. Not just that we got some great mileage out of him, but how we used him to go deep, then hit him on a slant and see how much YAC he could get and that end-around. Getting some really creative uses out of him, which in turn opens things up for our possession guys. He really complements guys like Aiken, Pitta and this year's version of Sr.

Yeah he's lost speed and it showed on the field when he tried to reverse on that punt return that lost like a couple yards where he tried to make a play but couldn't.

How did our WRs hold up against the Bills CBs in the second half? All this stuff was off camera so I can really only guess until the coaches' film comes out, but Joe seemed to pause in the pocket for a second or two fairly often only to throw a one-yard pass to Sr, Aiken or a RB and I'm wondering if that had anything to do with guys like Perriman eventually getting locked down by the Bills CBs and just not being open.

I forgot to mention him but I just looked up his number and Wright had a terrific game.  He was everywhere.  I made mental notes of him because I wasn't sure who he was. He was great. Jernigan had himself a game and was playing on fire out there rushing the QB.

flacco looked rattled for most of the 2nd period..we were lucky darby didnt pick him off for a pick 6..

could be a different result

we cant have a guy who refuses to run out of the pocket and plays tentative in the air.

Jernigan played really good. Really liked what I saw from him.

That play with Sr was a classic miscue from not playing preseason together imo. Hopefully we don't have too many more of those, but I guess we'll see. He really didn't want to run though, which could honestly become a lingering issue all season.

Suggs doesn't look 100% there yet either.  He was really slow getting to the edge on multiple occasions, and looked slow in general.  I hope that's just additional recovery from the injury and him getting back into game shape.

Is the ravens defense this good or is bills offense just that bad? My enthusiasm is measured because I don't know if it's real or fools gold.

Yea he could of done better,  but 67% completion percentage,  and made some great throws. Just a little rust and their defense was getting to him.  He's fine.

The good? Wright, of course. I thought Weddle stabilized things back end, too. The bad? Those spots were unbelievable- the critical one on the last drive was only one of 4 or 5 bad ones. I mean, really awful.
