Man, I love our Ravens but I just don't see this offense the way that you do.  I think that we still have question marks there.  And to be honest Joey, with all of these so-called, "weapons" we have, I have yet to really see any explosiveness from them.  It stalls too much for me!  It goes 3 & out too much for me!  It rarely scores TD's in the redzone.  Sure, it was just one game out of a 16 game season but my issue is that it looks all too familiar to what I've seen from it in the past.  I just don't feel it like you or others do!

True!  And with that being the case Joey, why couldn't all of these offensive "weapons" as you mentioned take over this game through the air and score more than 13 pts?  Again, I get all of the defensive battle and match up talk and the this was one game talk and the offense has to gel together talk but these boys just don't do it for me man!  I am never confident like you or most in here that they can go in there and get the job done until they have done so!  Not trying to be critical just stating where I'm at concern this offense.

My thoughts about all of this as well BR732.

Our offense is shaking off a lot of rust and finding themselves right now. Rex found our weakness and dialed up the blitzes to the center, trestman got really conservative and played into their game plan which also happened to be a game plan Our offense isn't built for. Zuttah had our run game stalling.

I'm not worried yet. I'm worried about the short term, I hope our defense can keep it up and keep us winning, but I can't see this offense looking the way it did in week 1 all year long. Once we find our identity and start to gel then I expect better things.

Trestman needs to not call a possession offense, we aren't built for it, when the dbs give us the intermediate, then attack the intermediate, don't just attack everything inside of 5 yards and allow them to tackle our guys.

Sooo you're saying I should drop forsett and pick up and start west on my fantasy team?

If it were me , I would. I just think he will have a chip on his shoulder going against his former team and I think Harbs and trest will allow him to get more touches- esp inside the redzone or goal line. That's not saying I thinkthink forsett will have a bad game either..I actually think they both have strong games. I have forsett putting up more yards but west punching in 2 scores. If Moore is active i think he will catch their dbs offguard and burn the heck outta them too. If he's not then I could see the same with perriman, unless they show him respect in which case Steve will have his first breakout game. Alot of different scenarios I know but it's all in how they dial up the defensive game plan. Steve only had 12 yards in week 1 last year and followed that up with 150+ ...I believe he's only about 40 some yards away from 14,000 for his career. He will reach that milestone Sunday.

I'm not quite worried about our offense yet. Actually I'm not worried at all I'm pretty excited about what I believe they can do as a unit and the potential they have. It's 1 game and big flashes of what's to come has been seen. Yeah they struggled a bit in the 2nd half but I believe they are trying to find them selves and an identity of who they want to be. Barring any major injuries (and please football gods be with us this year.) I believe we will have a top 10 unit easily. Our offense can be very dangerous.

What I want to see is progression on our offensive production and retention of our defensive production. If we can achieve those two goals, I can't see any way the Browns can win this Sunday. I mean this respectfully acknowledging that any team could lose on any given Sunday. No team in the NFL can be counted out before the game. There is just too much parity in the league. But, I'm really not sure yet about the 'Money Ball' team!

Not much to say on this prediction other than the Browns are a better team with McCown under center and the Ravens beat a hapless Bills team that will fire Rex Ryan before the year is out. We will get the win in Cleveland but our lack of a running game and overall lack of talent on offense will be exposed for all of the NFL to see. Defense wins this game for us as we can only muster 4 field goals and a TD. Ravens 19-10

He's not getting fired mid-season. There's nobody to replace him.

I didn't say mid-season I said before the season is over. Rex is done in Buffalo. I think there is an OC in New England licking his chops right now.

Can you predict us to lose instead? lol

Irrelevant when it is. The Bills will not still be playing football when Rex gets fired.

Also, can you cite me an example of when a team hired a coordinator away from another team during the season and made them their HC? Especially when its a division rival. One example will suffice.

You really didn't think this through at all.

Come on man- I did not say the Bills would fire Ryan and hire Josh during the season. I said Rex will be fired before the season is over and they will hire McDaniels as HC when the season is over.

If that happens, Rex Ryan should return to Baltimore and be our DC or LB coach or something.

Rex couldn't be farther from what Harbs looks for in his staff. Braggadocio, lack of discipline, high risk...I just don't see it happening.

He also has too much pride. He'll be on TV before he steps back down to DC.

We already don't have Doom and Za'Darius might be out. I'm concerned about our pass rush. We'll need the offense to step up. I hope Doom can return against Jacksonville, but I find that doubtful so I'm hoping its Oakland.

Looks like we'll see some action from Correa.

I'm thinking they play Carter more than Correa on obvious pass-rush situations, but maybe I'm just being pessimistic.

Of course YOU think that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Correa got a good amount of snaps next week. I mean he is probably the best coverage linebacker and good at getting pressure in the middle. I think Orr got the nod last week just because of the fact you have to contain McCoy before anybody. Next week with a pocket quarterback I see them trying to use Correa to get pressure in the middle. I could see him getting 25-30 snaps this coming week.

Yeah, its a good opportunity for him going forward since Za'Darius and Doom may not be 100% for a while.

Now that Powers is healthy, he will more than likely be the nickel CB tomorrow.  Who played the nickel CB vs the Bills? Whoever it was, he did a good job bc I dont remember the announcers calling his name. If it aint broke...
