I know we always play the Browns close but I'm anticipating a blow out. I think the offense starts to click, getting chunks in the run game and overwhelming their secondary in the passing game with just too many weapons to cover.

The D is going to pick up where they left off. We get two turnovers and hold them under 250 yds total offense.

And  I agree that Tavon Young should keep the nickel job until he loses it. The Bills didn't seem to get much out of the slot. His speed is an asset and the more time he gets now the better it is for his future. Powers shouldn't be handed the job just bc he's a veteran. He should have to earn it like anyone else.

I wouldn't be discourage if its close because they always play us close but I can see your point on why you expect a blow out. I do expect our offense to be much better this time around.

i dont think cleveland are as bad as you guys think. RGIII being out might be the best thing possible for them. They have talent, sure they are young but would it shock me if they won ? nope..

To finally comment on this. It would be embarrassing to lose to them. Their QB may have our number, but is a backup for a reason and our defense especially on the back end possibly has changed. And outside of Haden(who's overrated), Nassib and Shelton, that defense is pitiful. And Pryor and Coleman have talent, but overall that offense doesn't scare me. Watkins is a better WR than both and we did a pretty solid job vs them. And not having Alex Mack and Schwartz is potentially a big deal.Even without ZDS, Judon has shown the ability to put pressure at this level, and Jernigan had a good game vs a mobile QB, and Williams is a good pass rusher for a 3-4 NT. And as much as I like Duke Johnson and Crowell, a much better RB in McCoy didn't do much against us last game. I don't doubt our defense.

That said, Barnidge is a problem. Hope CJ and Orr are up to it.

We should win this game. I don't want to be definitive because when I was with the Raiders last year we lost. But we are a better team on paper by far. We are a lot better than where we were last year, depth-wise on the offense especially, while they are far worse. No Whitner, no Gibson, no Kruger, no Williams. We've got almost everyone back.

They might keep it close, but we should win

My prediction: I think it'll be a high-scoring game tomorrow with a lot of passing and frustrating defensive showings for both teams. Ravens will prevail in the end though, getting good pressure on McCown on the final drive of the game to force a turnover on downs for the win.

Judon is going to have a coming out party tomorrow as the primary rush guy on passing downs.

2 sacks for the young man and a few tfl.

Hes going off.

Been thinking this too.  I say the defense follows up with abother solid showing.  I'm calling at least 5 sacks and 2 TOs.

We better demonstrate why McCown is a career backup today

Or at least keep him under 400.. that'd be nice

That's quite a prediction for a group of OLBer's with only one veteran.

Lol, I won't expect much from Mosely, I hear Orr is good in coverage though.

Gameday baby. Let's get this W for cb and go into week three  2-0 ( 6-0 including preseason) with some serious momentum on our side. Then we'll get doom and Dixon back and start punishing these fools.

Another reason I thought know we get constant pressure.  The guys who were here with him seemed to loved him.  We're not playing a mobile qb so the guys can focus on rushing.

Best of luck to everyone today - no injuries and a good game.  I'll submit my thoughts later on tonight.

Also, very sad news about Clarence Brooks.  Glad to see the Browns area doing something to remember him.

Buck allen inactive again today. Interesting seeing as how i thought we'd be doing a lot of pounding the rock. Going with tavon young again today too over powers and Davis. Showing faith in the kid. We'll see what happens.

This game will remembered as one of the most boring games in recent memory. The Ravens are a bad team and the Browns are worse.

Very little offense and both will combine for less that 100 yards rushing in this game but not because both teams have outstanding defenses ( although the Ravens D is clearly better) .

Simply because both teams have laughable offenses. No leaders on either side of the ball for either team.  19-10 Ravens

I hope the unveiling of Jim Brown's statue does not give any extra incentive to the Brownies.  I hope our Ravens defense honors CB in a big way by playing out of their minds for him.  Get the W!!
