Um yeah, I watched the Eagles vs Browns game today..

Griffin played like trash, their secondary got touched up by Carson Wentz and a no name receiving corps..they couldn't stop the run either.

I'm calling it now, Ravens 35 Brownies 9

Jordan Matthews is a pretty good WR actually. But SSR is better.

But getting lit up by a rookie QB who at this point in his career is essentially Flacco lite... Yeah. I think we win this one.

Tbh I expect a win here. Their defense is just terribad. The offense should drop 30+ on that defense easy. Griffin is all over the place. And I expect for the most part to shut them down.

Agreed. I think this is Breshad's coming out party. Against their third corner

Really hoping the O-Line rebounds here. Stanley and Lewis played well, Yanda had a very un-characteristic day, and Wagner and Zuttah were some booty.

I don't know who Cleveland has down there as far as WR's go. I think their number one guy is Terrelle Pryor, I honestly hope we win this game decisively.

Corey Coleman's supposed to be top of the depth chart for them, and they've got Andrew Hawkins and TE Gary Barnidge will probably find a way to go off on us for 150 yards and two TDs despite doing quite literally nothing against Philly.

On paper this is the kinda game that should be over shortly after the coin toss, but the Browns always seem to play us tough so I think it'll be closer than people expect. Something like 24-16 or 18-10 wouldn't surprise me.

I was gonna bring up the fact that sweeping the Browns is just as vital to the Ravens' chances of playoff contention as fruits and vegetables are to the health of human body (corny analogy, but it is what it is). However, after I saw the Falcons lose their home opener after being undefeated in the Matt Ryan Era, it's basically pointless.

You would think with how great our defense played, we'd be able to hold them to like 10 points or whatever. Game by game basis people. I still expect our offense to suffer from growing pains. Flacco REALLY has to stop playing timid.

RGIII vs the Ravens D.

He already has a shoulder injury from the Eagles game. Something tells me we'll break the rest of his glass body.

That's how I see it.

Don't ever expect us roll on Cleveland. They always seem to light up our defense.

Agree.  Any divisional game should be close in this division

Offense has to improve and defense has to stay aggressive. The Browns always play the Ravens tough and it's their home opener, so I think the game will be tough. But tough doesn't have to mean close.

We saw the defense have a dominate performance to open the season last year only to drop off a cliff the next 7 games or so. So the defense must stay focused on improving. I think Suggs and Weddle will help keep the defense grounded.

As for the offense, I personally underestimated the need for this offense to come together. I was excited for all the talent surrounding Joe but it's gonna take a couple weeks for the offense to really find it's groove and gel. The thing about having so many weapons is that you have to find a way to make them all work together. I think every position player caught a pass except Hester and Williams, so that's huge just to spread the ball around like that and put things on tape for future opponents. As long as the oline clears up and plays better, I think the Ravens will have a good showing vs the Browns

Our OL should have an easier time against the Browns. I hope that Sizzle and Flacco will be able to get back to their old selves in this game. Both of them looked a bit timid. I hope the passrush will put more pressure on RG3. Tyrod had sometimes alot of time in the pocket. This game could be a good confidence builder and an opportunity to really get some momentum. Then again, you can never underrate Division opponents. How many times did we all expect the Ravens to dominate Cleveland only to watch a close game?

I get what you all are saying about the Browns and it's a game we absolutely should win...but let's not get overconfident. If there's one thing I've learned with the Browns, they can crap the bed every week but when they play us, they seem to really get up for our two games and give us fits. Our guys overlook them at times and it comes back to bite us. But yeah, we SHOULD be able to take care of business next week.

This'll be a close one for pretty much the entire game. Hue Jackson knows EXACTLY how to beat us and the Ravens tend to play down to the competition.

Yeah, that is true, I did forget that they do always play us tough, even when we were an elite team. In that sense I do expect our offense to play a much better job this time around and I honestly would be disappointed if the receivers don't play up to par. Even if it is Cleveland that defense is still miserable. I expect our defense to get a challenge but I really would like to see a better offense. I don't expect to pound them 55-0 but I do think we should win this game and it would be great if we could win big. I don't see enough talent on their Receivers that would make me believe that our defense will struggle but I do understand that they have put up a fight against some of the Ravens elite defenses. Just hope that we see a different team this time around.

Nothing better after shaking off the cobwebs against the Bills then to get a nice tune up game against the Browns.  When you want to get things on track and in sync you play against the Browns and watch everything suddenly click.

Cleveland is going to want revenge for last year, so I'm not going to just count them out. Coming off a close win, the Browns could always possibly catch the Ravens off guard.

Any team coming off a tough loss and then playing at home is going to play really tough. So it isn't a walk in the park winning against the Browns. To be candid we have a lot of stuff to clean up in our own game.

Don't know why some people are predicting a blowout, we're the Ravens, we play DOWN to the competition. This'll be a very tough game.

RG-III  is hurt already.  ( yeah I know... shocker)

His ego will make him play.

It should be fun for our D.

I still want revenge for the Cleveland game last year in Baltimore

With RG3 as the starter, there's always a chance we'll see Josh McCown.
