Ok, all the negativity??? As fans we should have confidence in our own team, if we don't how can we expect anyone else to? Don't count us out before we even start, your worse then the Pitts fans putting us down!!

Remember this is a TEAM effort, ONE MAN on the field or OFF Field does not make a TEAM!!!
you know whats funny the same people saying we will lose will be the same people coming on this board after we win acting like they always had faith in the ravens

ESPN I think Rolle is good but I dont think that he is a game changer as far as this game being played.

I'm not being pesimistic, I'm just being a realist; our chances are against us. I hope they prove me wrong, but don't think because we beat a team that crushed the Steelers, we are going to do even better, because that's not gonna happen.
fans like you disgust me

"From experience to knowing the game plan, to making plays, we definitely will miss Samari," Reed said. "We expect (Pittsburgh) to attack guys that haven't been in there. I would if I was playing against it. It happens, but that's why other guys get paid."

This is from a report made by Chris Burke, an editor for the NFL who has been attending the Ravens' practices this week.

So that's Reed take on it after practice today.......

I didn't say we'll lose. Stop acting like you're some Genie that'll make them win. If they win, you can't brag, because you didn't have anything to do with them winning. And I'd rather be negative, than cocky, but I'm just being a realist. So YOU SHUT UP!

I feel the same way as most of you do here, Rolle hasn't been that great for us anyway.

We've gotten this far because of our resiliency, tenacity, and heart.
We still have that. We have enough talent out there that we can do this.

Its time for the offense to step up to relieve pressure from the defense for a change! Lets mix it up, go out guns blazing, and try our hardest to put points on the board! The conservatism won't work because our D is susceptible now. Now is the time for the offense to play big!

chill out man, everyone is worried about this game, you'd be foolish not to be, but now is not the time for us to be sulking or giving up. We need to focus on what's ahead, think positive, discuss what changes the Ravens might be able to make in order to get the best shot at winning, and encourage each other! Hope and optimism won't make us win, you're right, but if it helps us keep our heads up then don't knock it!

CHILL EVERYONE! There's certainly no need for us to be arguing among ourselves. Besides, it's a violation of the rules. Please stick to the subject and stop addressing your posts directly at each other.

If you ask me I think it's going to be a great, low scoring game no matter who plays on D. I have faith that the next guy will step up to fill the spot he is needed at! These guys are all professionals and know what they are doing!!

We may have gave up a lot yards against Ten. but we got our ball back when we needed to... those were TAKEAWAYS... not turnovers, or whatever else ESPN decides to call it... I heard one guy call it LUCK on there... you have got to be kidding me... a good D performs when needed, those were three TAKEAWAYS and nothing else! agreed??

well if this makes anybody feel any better for the game:
Samari did not play against the Steelers AT heinz ketchupass field, and look how we did. Our corners were solid as a rock that game. I expect no less from them come this sunday.

Hes a game saver, not a changer. Frank Walker is no samari rolle..i even saw in the titans game them start to abuse frank walker, just like the steelers, titans, and cowboys have all done when hes been in the game. That also hurts Fabian because we have to roll coverage to help Walker out. It also takes away from Eds playmaking because hes gunna have to give deep help to that side.

I believe I am in the minority when I say that I think Frank Walker has played pretty well. He didn't look good in the preseason, but I think he has played well during the regular season. He is much more physical than Rolle, which I think will be an asset with a smaller secondary. He is a better press corner than Rolle or Fabian, and he is a decent tackler. He just needs to focus on not running his mouth as much and not getting beat deep.

True...with an injured knee. we had to try and cover him up for the couple of games that he did play, by getting extra help from the safeties. I'd much rather have a healthy walker than a banged up knee of a starting cornerback in McAlister. A banged up knee really hurts when keeping up with the WR's cuts and double moves. And, although his attitude has been very childish, walker has definitely stepped up to the plate and performed for us as a good starter.

my only issue with Walker is he is very susceptible for Hines to get into his head. If this game is decided on that kind of call it would be so much of a disservice to the game.

Walker has played better then I expected after seeing him in preseason.

He is more physical then Rolle, and really, has anyone seen him get beat real deep? I can only recall the Colts game and Reggie Wayne catching a perfect ball for a TD with walker covering him...I could be wrong.

I only have a couple of real beefs with Walker.

He seems to be called for a lot of penalties...some really stupid.

Another is that when the opposing offense is trying to beat him deep on a post, he is usually in good position, but never turns his darn head around for the ball...which makes him more susceptible to interference calls...much less him actually getting a chance to intercept the ball.

All in all...I don't think Walker in and Rolle out is huge.

However, with Suggs maybe out, or at the very least not playing 100 percent, combined with Walker in at corner, makes me worried.

Slightly less better defensive backfield with slightly less pressure up front...in a game of inches....others need to step up huge.
