I'm worried about the combination of our defense's inability to get off the field on 3rd down and Tyrod's running ability. That's going to decide the game on Sunday unless our offense lights it up all day - and there's little reason why they shouldn't.

Stopping the combination of Tyrod and McCoy is key to time of possession and getting enough offensive snaps to score points. This is going to be a tough game if the defense doesn't get the Bills off the field quickly. Tyrod's performance will dictate how we fare.

I hate it when games come down to a last second field goal. I don't care how good the kickers are. THEY WILL MISS! The joy of victory, the agony of defeat. Gano, Houshka, Cundiff, Anderson, Walsh, Norwood, etc., etc., etc. I guess I give these guys credit. They basically kick very well, but if they miss in the limelight, they're bums. Games shouldn't come down to one ex-soccer player. Get rid of the FG. Go for it, or punt!

Wow. Peter Schrager of Fox Sports picks the Bills... That's something to be remembered...
Let me remind everyone that Schrager was about the only pundit picking us over the Broncos for the Mile High Miracle game...

Suggs' comments almost make me miss the days when he, Ray and Ed would beat on Hines Ward and Rashard Mendenhall.

Also I like his Winter Soldier outfit.

So let me get this right, you think game winning field goals are bad but think a team to should punt at the end of a game and give up the chance of a win

Yes...I'm disappointed with that outcome of Denver-Carolina game. One the one hand I wanted Carolina to lose, but on the other I wanted Denver to lose.

Yes! Love that the national pundits are saying the Raven's have no chance to make the playoffs! We will feed on being the underdog all year. Whenever people doubt the quality of this team, the Raven's always come out with a chip on their shoulder and win games the experts claim we have no business winning. So bring on all that negativity, it will only strengthen this teams resolve!

Speaking of football brutality...this new rule where they flag a player for looking at another player crossways and call it taunting (was done in opening game Thurs)...is the NFL trying to take the alpha-male out of an alpha-male driven sport? Next thing you know they'll require player to state after tackles "sorry for hitting you but my contract requires me to do so, ...it's nothing personal, hope I didn't hurt your feelings."

Yet helmet to helmet spears are acceptable to them..

This is the second time I've seen this stuff about Ed today, and neither times did the writer of the article recognize it for what it is, a joke. Remember all the times he used to say he was thinking about retiring, even while he was still in his prime, but never did? He was never being serious about retiring back then, it was just Ed being Ed. This is the same. He's not serious about coming back, even for a reasonable dollar amount. It's just Ed being Ed. In the full interview, he says "[I knew] that I was no longer a player a long time ago. That's why I retired. So all that's gone. That life is behind me, man. Here I am, Coach Reed."

Unfortunate that Gano missed that field goal--it could matter in the AFC wildcard race.

Also have to agree that Stanley is not a realistic RotY candidate. Even if Staney has a spectacular season, simply a solid season from a relevant fantasy football player will take it over him. Blocks, pressures, hits, and sacks are not stats that most fans look at (and unless they have PFF, they probably can't find them anyway).

He wasn't just looking at the other player, he was jumping up and down right in his face and waving his arms about.

A couple of things here.. first of all, Ed Reed doesn't have 2-3 years left- if he did, he'd still be playing for the Jets Second of all, the Ravens and Squeelers rivalry is losing some luster - this is what happens when we're not as competitive as we used to be- also, our defense isn't the same Rex Ryan defense that defined the Ravens D years ago. Speaking of Ryan, I think they're going to blitz the heck out of Flacco- Flacco is terrible when he's under pressure, and we lose this game.

Forget  the analysts. They know nothing.   Halfway through the season every one of them will be saying "where did Baltimore come from" - and we can just sit back , smile and nod along as they start to realize what we knew all along.

Each year its the same thing, the only thing that saved predictions last year was Peytons last year in the NFL. Other than that the pundits were all wrong, just like they will be again. The Ravens are back, its a new season and its 1 game at a time. Go get the win on Sunday, the bench is deep and the talent is there...now its about playing as a Ravens winning team.

The experts don't know any thing all they do is go with the hot teams from last season and brag about them every 5 seconds. Give me a break can they ever mention us on one of the ESPN or NFL Network shows. Nope! Unless it's negative they won't bother talking about my Ravens. That's cool because we love the under dog role, our history speaks for it self.

Yeah it was definietly taunting but I think it was silly to flag it. He was celebrating and rubbing it in that they scored TD. Big deal, and I don't care for either team so just saying in general seems awfully particular micromanaging of football players who are naturally driven and passionate on field about scoring. So dull it down they want, kinda takes some of the fun out.
