Week 1 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills

I can't believe they haven't had a winning opening weekend since the Superbowl season. That's crazy.

No better way to start the year than with a W. Good work, Ravens.

gotta fix Flacco ... and must get offense rolling for at least 45 minutes not just 15-30 minutes.

Defense was good but need the secondary to get on the hips of receivers and get INTs and knock down passes.  I feel good that we contained McCoy and Taylor that will help our defense stay confident as most QBs arent as mobile as Taylor and McCoy is a shifty lil bugger

Glad we won though. I think ALOT can be learned when the team looks at film this week. So it was ugly.. but very educational I bet. 1-0

Wright looked questionable in preseason, but he had a pretty good game today!

Was the defensive MVP by a mile.

You have to respect 4.3 speed as a corner...

I get that but it's not like Jimmy runs a 4.7 I still prefer the jam at the line and disrupt the timing

Player of the day was Wright.  What a game.  Great pursuit to the ball.  Looked fast.

Defense played pretty well minus the non existent pass rush after we took the lead.

Offense looked like "Here we go again" garbage.  I don't know how many times you have to do a 0 yard out before you realize it isn't going to work as your number one go to play.  Every time we have a 3rd and 4th down play, we do a play under the first down marker.  It is like watching an insane person make the same mistakes over and over with Trestman.  Meanwhile he is making me look insane yelling at the TV but that is another story.  I think he has a rule where he is only allowed to use the middle of the field less that 5 times a game.

Refs seemed to continue their trend of making up new rules to stop Rex Ryan teams.  I felt bad for Tyrod all last year and I would have felt bad for him again this game if it wasn't against the Ravens.  He plays well and every time it looks like his team has turned the momentum, I see a flag for calls I didn't even know existed.  Bailed us out multiple times and tried their best to give us points.

What's there to fix? He's still not at 100%, he's not going to take unnecessary risks running around with the ball until he is.

Absolutely fly.... He's ready to play, but he's not 100% yet.  Give him a few weeks.  Anybody that thought he'd go out there and cut out and start running with the ball has never had a serious knee injury.  I'd bet it still feels a little "loose" in there.

Jimmy Smith just never seems to do well.  Look at the film.  Any large chunks of yardage came from plays tossed his way.  Constantly stands 10 yards or more off the receiver.  He needs to start being a corner worthy of his contract, or sit him and put someone else in.  It's not like we are losing much trying new blood.  They are already burning us when Smith is in.

Excuse me, but it's the defense he was put in and he held Sammy Watkins to 46 yards.  Look at the stat sheet and the winners column.  Also, the last half of last year he was starting to do better since he was injured for most of the year.

Prior to going down in 2014 he left as one of the best CB's in the NFL.  Are you even watching the same games as the rest of us?

jimmy was playing press man on a no1 receiver all game and held him to 46 yards while trailing him all over the field
