I haven't been watching him specifically so this is where a re-watch with the All-22 would help a lot. But it's possible he's just been getting locked down. Buffalo have two very good CBs and we don't seem to have many plays available down the field anymore.

That's the point atm. Keep the high-percentage plays up that move the chains a couple of times, but more importantly bleed the clock.
