Alex Smith runs it himself to get the win for the Chiefs as the Chiefs beat the Chargers in OT. The AFC West will end week one with the Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders all 1-0 heading into week 2.

I honestly think they are in trouble. They have no options to throw to outside of Antonio Brown, no athletic TE who can get vertical, they have limited options at CB as well and that secondary doesn't look to keep up against the Skins receivers who look really good. What's worse is that their pass rush is expected to be even worse. I think overall they're pretty overrated.

I think there are still a lot of similarities between us and them, in that they've got a great QB and a good (for the most part) coaching staff that knows how to eke out wins when things are going badly. They've had most of those holes for a few years now and always seem to be in the picture, so I think they'll be hovering around the playoff race despite their issues, but this could be the year they fall short and I think Washington will win tomorrow.

I hope so. I wish that the Jets could have pulled out a win today, because a Steelers lose tomorrow would have us a full game on the AFC North. The Browns look BAD today so I like to think we win that game and with the Steelers playing the Bengals we will be up one game on one of those two teams next week.

This Giants defense doesn't look like a fortune just got spent on it. Prescott picking up first downs left, right and centre.

So far no team has impressed me. Just seems teams are getting the week one jitters out and maybe next week teams will show a bit more.

Kinda surprised that the Lions are up 14 - 0 over Indy.

I'm not. Colts are missing 2 starting corners and their secondary was terrible before that.

Without Fitzpatrick though they wouldn't have made it that close of a game to start with.

True but again the bad side of Fitzpatrick is he chokes away games. He choked away a playoff spot last year and today gave away a potential first win.

Considering things, the whole AFC East could leave week one 0-1.

I'm definitely not disagreeing with you on any of that

I wonder if the Lions will choke this game away just like they did against the Chargers week 1 last season.

Speaking of Chargers, typical. Just typical.

Speaking of typical, I hate rooting for Fitzpatrick to help us out. Once again, he blows it.

I'm just getting in - has Elliott been as, frankly, bad as his statline suggests? I mean not even 3 yds/carry...

What was that guy thinking by staying on the field?! He had one job, get out of bounds and he screwed it up.

That was some amateur hour stuff from the Dallas receivers on that drive in general. Prescott looked a bit too eager to get it to the middle of the field too, which obviously doesn't bode well if you've got a minute left and no timeouts.

lol does Williams not understand how running a last minute drive without a timeout works. Like how does a pro wide receiver even make that mistake. The coaches had to have even reminded them before starting the drive.

Yeah he kept forcing the ball to Witten who is slow as hell and is definitely not making it out of bounce.

Colts defense just gave it away. So another year Luck has to carry the team and hope he scored enough points to outscore the other team.

Detroit wins 37-35 over Indy.
