I know what SSS, Aiken, and Wallace can do in a real game. Let's just hope that Perriman can start a new chapter in our history by catching a few passes on 9/11/16.

He will be very solid if he can stay healthy. IMO

The Raven way is to just get on the field and force the other team to account for your talent. Just keep sprinting go routes down the field and force the secondary to respect the deep game. The moment a corner and safety are forced to play over the top of Perriman, he's done his duty to the offense.

Forcing a safety out of the box widens the gaps that defenders have to cover. It expands the underneath coverage zones the rest of the defense has to account for. The more defender Perriman can force to account for his speed deep, the easier the job gets for the rest of the offense.

Can't wait!

Well, at long last we will all see, won't we? Will he be the WR the pundits rave about or will he be the next bust in line? I sure hope I am wrong, but he has done nothing to change my opinion, based on his college performances. He was a ball dropper then, but wait, he caught a whopping TWO passes in a preseason game so all the writers are telling us how great he is. It won't take long to figure out which is true. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Perriman will be fine. The boy is fast and although it was pre season, he left the corner in his dust a few times, so much so that they put another corner on him later in the game. He'll have an impact, even if he isn't thrown to very often. Joe will hit him if he's open and I have no concerns about him catching or dropping any more balls than any other receiver would. SSS has dropped a couple but we don't keep count on him so give the boy a break a little bit. He's new but he's fast and that's a big plus from what we've had in the past, if nothing else.

My expectations of Flacco is that he does not overthrow or under-throw his receivers as he is known for particularly when he is not throwing those infamous interceptions. I'm sure the Ravens receivers have expectations as well such as, don't ask me to catch a jump ball way over my head or behind my back.

Play the dink dink/quick release when they give too much cushion. Work on those linebackers and take calculated risk against a good group of corners. But gotta say, a long bomb to perriman does sound nice

I hope perriman becomes Flaccos deep security blanket similarly to T.Smith.

Flacco used to literally pluck it up there Instead of throwing the ball away whenever his pocket collapsed.

So true, helped Torrey get a nice amount of PI calls as well

Steve Smith dropped 4 TDs last year and cost us 3 wins

Not to be a downer, but it's discouraging to keep hearing that the most important thing Perriman did in the preseason was to not get injured. I guess he's still one up on Campanaro.

Highly doubt he was the sole reason we lost any games at all. There are several  things that happen during the course of a game that can change the outcome. One drop is not the deciding factor.

Confident? This kid has not been in a real game. I bet you he gets shocked how much different a real game is to "practice" Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is ramp ed up and these opponents are playing to put food on the table. I just want to see him survive a real hit.
