Flacco.  The offense is gonna be explosive

This.

Offense predicated on getting the ball out, yards after catch, quick receivers and backs in the pass game with ball in their hands. Underneath stuff setting up shots downfield.

This should be a great year for Joe. More, "easy" throws establishing rhythm and setting up the long ball.

Since I don't think any one has mentioned him yet, I'll say Hester takes the first one back for 104 yd TD. Says he's earned his 1.1 mil.

I've obviously got to echo the OL picks here (including our shiny new top six pick), but since I feel like they don't count for purposes of this thread I'll go all in on Mike Wallace. He's going to have a resurgence this season and it starts this week. His chemistry with Joe has already looked great and that will only improve, as he adds the same stuff Torrey did.

If Hester returns one all the way on the opening kickoff, that stadium is simply going to explode.

Maybe not consistently, but perrimans gonna make a wow play. Deep ball, maybe the end zone, will out leap double coverage and come down with a really tough catch.

SSS is gonna have a big game. There's something different about him this year. A realization that this is actually it. A focus. He's going to make the most of it.

And I'll ride with the hot hands on defense. Levine and Judon are going to make splash plays. With Doom out, big Z will get the bulk of his snaps but Judon is gonna get some and he gets a strip sack.

Levine for a pick in that dime backer role. He's on a role and I think he's finally found his comfort zone. Break out year and it starts game 1.

Great point about Steve. I'll it take a step further and say in Carolina he was always needed, until he wasn't. In Baltimore he's wanted. He has brothers that value him for who he is and that's a whole different game. He's playing for something he believes in, something bigger than himself and even bigger than glory or recognition. That's powerful.

Yeah, Steve knows this is his true final chance at a championship. I expect him to give every ounce of ability his body has left.

Matt judon... he should see some more snaps with doom out

Damn, that was going to be my pick. I see him coming in on 3rd and long and just playing a game of "meet you at the quarterback"

Maybe Jernigan can have a big game if he's matched-up on John Miller, who is probably the weakest-link on their very talented OL.

I'll take one on each side of the ball:

Offense: Crockett Gillmore takes advantage of the Buffalo linebackers

Defense:  Anthony Levine allows the pass rush more green lights with good work as the spy on Taylor.  He earns the nickname "BASF" for the company that "doesn't make all the products, but they make other products better":

He doesn't mind when fans think it means Bad A** Safety.

No ones said it, but i also think Sizzles gonna let everyone know he's back. Maybe not a dominant individual performance, but youre going to see the difference in how this D plays when he's on the field. Hes that top domino that lets everyone else just do their job. He can beat the double teams, set the edge, get to the QB, drop into a zone or cover the flat, blow up the RB in the back field....

He'll do a little bit of everything - maybe no fumble, INT, or sack... but hes gonna be pressuring, stuffing runs, occupying blockers and allowing everyone else to move like clock work. He's the guy that creates advantages for us elsewhere on the field. The conductor of our orchestra.

after hearing about the backup RT thats gonna be starting(his name escapes me atm) im gonna say that one of zds or judon has a huge game and really bursts onto the scene. im gonna pick ZDS over judon though because of his impressive strength and burst combination, i think hes the type who could really take advantage of a bad OT by just being the superior athlete and bullying him for 4 quarters. i expect judon to come on a little slower because he is much less of a specimen, even if he is more refined and has that natural hand and footwork. i wont count judon out though, he surprised me all through preseason id be glad to be surprised again, i like both of our strongside rushers in this game a lot, i expect a lot of wreckage to come from the right side for all 4 quarters.

Same here- im thinking  zadarius balls out with multiple sacks. Still got that strange feeling Orr will be a difference maker though. Don't ask me why.

Wallace  - I've been predicting a big turnaround season for him ever since we signed him, so why change that now?

I agree on this, but it's going to mean the combination of Orr, Mosley, and Levine will have to keep Tyrod in the pocket.

I also believe he'll have his best season since his Steelers days in Baltimore. I also believe veterans from other teams thrive in our team atmosphere and environment too. Here they're respected and also expected to be accountable not just by the coaches but by their teammates. Such is the legacy of Ray Lewis. His aura lives on in the Baltimore Ravens.

I have a feeling Hester is going to break one for a TD. I find it sort of interesting that when people talk about all the speed we've got at receiver they forget to mention Hester - dude can still fly, sure I doubt he'll get much of any snaps at WR this week since we just signed him but after this game. Get him the ball in space and watch his magic, he was so electric in 2014 if the Falcons had competent blockers on ST then he would have gotten one or two more TDs. We got lucky to get him on the cheap.
