[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Bills: Elvis Dumervil Says He Won't Play

I think Zadarius Smith and Judon can hold that spot nicely until Dumervil come back. I wonder is Dennis Pitta playing. Does anybody know?

Pitta returned to practice on Saturday, so I would say he's probably the starting TE on Sunday.

Z really improved from last year, especially at setting the edge, and Judon, he really looked good....Albert will also do a good job, as he quietly had a solid camp....

Strangely enough, I'm looking forward to Z. Smith more than Doom. Granted, we all know what Doom can do over his career but I'm more interesting in seeing how fleshed out Z can be.

I'd also like to see what Judon can do even though he's just a rookie.

I predict, Judon, Henry, and Pierce will be the rooks sticking out on Defense, with Z looking more like a 3 down LBer....

Dumervil is an old 32. A "foot area" injury"? Seriously? What the heck is that? He was a non factor last year before getting hurt. Now he is out for who knows how long. McClellan? You mean the guy the Ravens cut, then resigned for special teams? That McClellan is the best we have to offer as the starter? Good grief.

yeah,i'm a little concerned myself now with some key injuries still lingering,my biggest concern is that POWERS wasn't all that impressive and now we have to go with a rookie corner in YOUNG,I really hope he's as good as his nickname-ED REED.

I think Dumervil had a pulled tendon in sole of his foot. Cant run or push off with that injury. McClellan has done a really good job last year and this year. You sure you got the right team?

Dumervil was 'a non-factor' because the best answer we had on the opposite side of him to replace with Suggs was a rookie. He is also a pass rush specialist and was only supposed to really work on later downs. He had to bulk up and play the run last season with Suggs out. It is a lot easier to replace Dumervil than it is Suggs. Suggs is an every down linebacker who is one of the best at the run and can put up double digit sacks. Dumervil we tell to go chase the QB. If he gets healthy he will be getting sacks again.

Correa just got a huge break. He'll get a few snaps here and there to rush the passer. I am a lil concerned about Doom. We need him 100% healthy ASAP

Took the words out my mouth. Anxious to see if Zadarius can make some strides in his sophomore year.

I agree on Z and Judon. I would never expect anything from Albert though.

I wonder if Correa was affected by the Pitta incident. Seems like he lost some of that swagger he displayed early on. I realize camp is tough for rookies, and those who burn the brightest early on can fade, but just thinking...

Correa will ride the bench, as he did nothing in preseason to dictate otherwise.
