[News] Late For Work 9/7: Game-By-Game Predictions For Ravens 2016 Season

48 posts in this topic

If you want respect you got to earn it! The Ravens don't play up to their full potential and give games away and is why some people don't have confidence in them is why they get that whack record pictured above! 10 -6?! Smh it's time to Rio the lid off the Offense and open it up Joe can't get 4000yds running up the middle and the Defense doesn't have to blitz to be successful or is it written somewhere they have to and must because it's not needed with the personnel on this squad but teams will wait on them to blitz and burn them every time and out come the finger pointing when the whole scheme needs to make the players look good instead of bad! 10-6?! Have your chapstick ready for when they change their tune and start "KISSING" up to us! 10-6 ?!?! WE THE BEST!

I wish Hester would wear his original number 23 but Kendrick Lewis has it darn. Mike Wallace should wear number 17 due to Butler not being here. He should wear is original number it's more slicker than wearing number 12.

Not exactly sure but I think Mike Wallace has change his original number back to 17 sweet. Here's a link that shows it on Baltimore Ravens Twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/Ravens/status/773559820238544896

Okay, I was ready to move beyond the lame excuses for cutting Butler but here it pops up again. Nothing like rubbing salt in a wound. Not only that, it is just a repitition of the same bs that Harbaugh gave us. At first we couldn't have a returner only, he had to play receiver also, like Hester has bowled the league over with his receiving ability. Then to say there wasn't a spot when quarterback killa Hurst made the team. Do we really need someone who can't play the position anyway. No, it's Harbaugh and his absolutely stupid obsession with special teams and his lifelong crush on Hester. Did you hear Hester, as soon as he became free Harbaugh was on the phone with him. As a special teams guy he just wants to say he coached Hester. We could have gotten by without him easily and proof will be in the pudding but I will make a formal apology here if Hester is still playing by week 6. Mark my words, this is another of those rash, stupid decisions that seem to be the Ravens MO here recently that will end up causing us to lose a playmaker for a guy who won't return kicks because they will all be touch backs and his punt returns have been garbage recently. I watched the Ravens Falcons game from 2014, his last "good" year, and he did nothing. Actually his first kickoff he was tackled by Trawick on the 10. Ooooooh that scares me...... Harbaugh would be a great coach if he would let go of special teams and all that goes with it and actually coach and make decisions for the whole team.

BUTLER will probably go on and become a great slot reciever like BRANDON STOKELY.

Wonder if you've noticed something: Butler signed with the Bucs having gone through the waiver wire. Which means all 31 teams passed on him, none of them put on a waiver claim on him.
So, if you think it was a mistake letting him go, you're not only holding it against Ozzie, one of the most acclaimed GM's, but 31 other GM's as well.

Do you really think you're in a better position to assess Butler than 32 NFL GM's?

Don't you think the other 31 teams who saw Butler perform and then not make the squad then question why. They want him on the practice squad to see for themselves. This mentallity of questioning people's opinions based on what 31 other GMs do is a lame response by someone who has no other argument, but oddly enough, that's exactly the same number who DONT win the super bowl every year. Do you honestly agree with every decision every GM makes? Do you know how many contacted Butler to try and get him? If not, you should try looking it up, because you say all those GMs didn't want him but the majority tried to get him to see what was going on with the Ravens decision. I don't need 31 other GMs to show me what I and everyone else saw with Butler, including Harbaugh and Newsome who both said he should be on the 53. But you know more than everyone so why should anyone ever question you?

Are you friends with these accounts OzzieBisciotti, Bohica5, etc because these are Ravens fans that always talking about the downside of the Ravens usually never good. I wonder do you agree what they say because you talk things so familiar. C'mon man. Yes, Butler was a good player don't get me wrong but was he that very important to this team? Besides, he might never even play this year with the Ravens due to the other Wrs ahead. If we have injuries at Wr, we could always bring Butler back because he be on the Bucs practice squad. We could just sign him on the 53 man squad.

I feel pretty good about predicting a 11-5 season. I wouldn't be surprised if we win 12, but I really think 11 is there for the picking.

i have us at 12-4 barring injuries. i see us sweeping cincy this year.

I agree with both of those. I think the Hester addition is good for at least one more win then we would've had. But more importantly, I think his value when shine come playoff time

So funny how people think Butler is a superstar after a good PREseason. No really, it actually is hilarious. Up until recently I used to get really annoyed reading all of the negative comments on these pages. Esp. about superstars we let go (Butler) and terrible signing of people that can't play anymore (SSS and Hester). And all the Perriman bs. But Now, I just find it as a legit source of humor. HAHAHA. Just thinking about all these goons and what they're thinking when they see Smitty going all HOF on the Bengals butt', and hester bringing backs a punt for a TD in Pittsburgh, and Perriman taking a 3 yard pass for 80 yards to the house. And Butler never catching a pass in the regular season. Just let the front office do their work people. LOL

The schedule is more difficult than most think. Jax, Oakland, are young up and coming teams, along with the Jets being a sleeper and that game is on the road. There will be some surprise wins and disappointing unexpected losses. If we get to 10-6 I would be pleasantly surprised.

I'll take a 10-6. For a team that lost many of its starters last year and went 5-11, this is a major boon. It shows a lot of trust in the Ravens' system to expect a 10-6.

Don't get me wrong ... I'm pulling for 16-0 as always! :) But a 10-6 and a playoff spot would be a blessing. The talent is there. Let's see if all the missed practice time by the veterans can be swept under the rug.

Almost every game prediction I made last season turned out to be the exact opposite outcome. Almost to a T. The season from hell. No way our luck can be that bad two years in a row. Could it?

Waiting for paragraph 2 regarding Elam :)
