I'm glad that's done. Now that I'm still worried about the secondary. I wonder can Ozzie pickup up a corner or something like a trade because in the opposite of Jimmy Smith there are concerns. Shareece Wright and Powers haven't been good this preseason they kept getting burnt in slant routes and such. I wonder if we could do something to improve that before the season starts.

Forsett just got shortchanged from Ozzie just like he did to Anquan Boldin and almost did to TUcker... I can't imagine good FA coming here because of Oz's reputation to not pay out on a full contract. We shouldn't overpay in the first place. No other team would've payed Forsett $3M/ year. Also, how do you ask Boldin to take a paycut after a great season? This is not how a "great" organization is run. Regardless, we save money on Forsett...

Well unfortunately 30 year old running backs get short changed in the NFL. This is especially true when there was such a deep draft class. Its a business. There are zero teams that would have added Forsett to there roster if he was cut. And lets be honest about things. You like to complain about Ozzy and the front office every chance you get, thats sort of your thing. Even if your complaints contradict your prior complaints. There is a short memory on the internet. If Forsett held on to that three mil you would be complaining at the end of the year that we paid a 30 year old running back, who only rushed for 500 yards way too much. As for free agents I would tell you to ask Weddle or Wallace why they chose the Ravens over other teams even when we "shortchanged" Anquan. Your so intent on slamming Oz that you're simply not thinking rationally.

Dude. When we first sign Forsett how does 3M/year overpay? I don't get you or others saying this. That's is the cheapest pay that l ever seen a veteran RB get. I will be actually shock if Forsett agree on a contract even cheaper than that.

No FA coming here? What about Weddle, Watson and Wallace?
That's 3 quality FA's just this year, and they were paid well to come here.

I'd not be surprised to see Forsett come out of this with a raise, compensation for allowing the team to finagle this way.  And I'd say he earned it.

I saw a tweet which said his contract was basically the same as it was when he was cut. The only change was 100K worth of incentives.
