UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

I'd turn that trade down. I don't think Dez or Wittin will put up the numbers Gronk will later on with Brady. Probably best to stick with the WRs you have along with Gronk.

Pick 3

T.Y Hilton

Jordan Matthews

DeSean Jackson

Tajae Sharpe

Or

Pick 2 and have me start Devonta Freeman in the flex.

I like Matthews against DA BEARS. I'm actually streaming Wentz. Sharpe is a risky pick, because he's unproven, but I like him against the Lions who gave up some points last week. I'm not sure about Hilton in Denver. That's gonna be tough sledding. I like DeSean over Wallace slightly. Either would be good. Wallace could have a nice breakout game against Cleveland.

Freeman is an intriguing case. I believe he got outplayed by Coleman in the last game.

I just wanted to come in here and brag on my call about sitting McCoy and playing Willie Snead, then failing by playing LA D/ST.  Won by 1point.

My brother needed 16 points to win

He had Gurley and the Rams D/ST. I thought I was screwed when I went to bed Monday night. Woke up the next morning, checked the score and found I had won by 9

Yea I went into Monday night games with a 7 point lead, after he had Jordan Reed, I had a 1 point lead.  I considered sitting my defense and not playing any,  but I was worried about the Tuesday morning stat correction

Well, Jordan Matthews and Wentz seem to have decent chemistry, so I'd go him. After him, I'd go with Jackson and Wallace.

I had a 70-point lead ahead of the Steelers game, with my opponent still to run Roethlisberger, DeAngelo Williams and Gurley. I thought I was in a good spot until the Steelers lit Washington up, at which point I thought I was screwed with a 12-point lead and Gurley to play. Then yeah....

yea I think is a good time to buy low on Gurley if any owners are panicking.  If they aren't panicking this week, I bet they will after next week when they play seattle.

Pick 1 in a full ppr league

Demaryius Thomas v indy

Stefon Diggs v green bay

Ouch. I think you're kinda screwed either way. I guess I would go with Diggs since Thomas still isn't a 100%. I wouldn't be too surprised if the Broncos don't play use Thomas or keep him just as a backup while he's recovering this week.

I agree. The injury concerns worry me. I'd also roll with Diggs.

Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Sterling Shepard, Will Fuller, Alshon Jeffrey, Willie Snead, Travis Benjamin.

Need four,

Was thinking Brown, Jordy, Fuller, and Sterling (bc of terrible Saints defense)

Agreed.  I think Benjamin lost a lot of value with the loss of Allen, reminds me of when Torrey was a number 1, i think Benjamin is going to get shut down a lot, i picked up Tryel Williams because of that.  Sterling should have a good game, im playing him over Mccoy

I have coby fleener as my TE, hoping saints TE usually put up numbers. But after a abysmal week 1 where he caught 1 ball and was hardly targeted, I'm wondering if I should drop him for Dennis pitta. Pitta officially #1 on the depth charts, should I make the move? Or too soon?

I like Pitta. That's Flaccos dude. I'm kinda weary of anyone at the WR position in Baltimore. So many weapons, the ball is gonna be spread around as it was this past week.

Both had only 4 targets in week 1. Saints offense is usually TE friendly, but they're sayin fleener is having a hard time picking up the offense. Both team have weapons and will spread the ball. Big difference is flacco will trust / look for pitta more. But saints offense.. Lol

Yup, it'd be tough week to week. Looking at offenses alone, it's hard to pass up the Saints and fleener. Tough call

Womp. Womp. Chose to bench Tyrod and he throws for three scores.

I did start Forte in another. I feel good about that one.

Forte added about 20 points to my projected score (which I was initially projected to win by about 0.1 points), so that's kind of a relief.

I might need that early boost though, as Zach Ertz is my only TE and I don't really want to drop Mike Wallace or Kenneth Dixon to find a replacement (I guess the other option is Charles Sims, but he goes straight to RB1 if Doug Martin gets hurt).

When do they expect Dixon back? You still have about 2-3 weeks right? I'm sure nobody's going to claim him anytime soon.

I'm still struggling with my WR position. Lol

pick two! Would like a couple of opinions.

Alshon v Philly, Snead @ Giants, Shepard v Saints, Fuller v Chiefs

i just think that Saints/Giants game might be a shoot out.

So the guy I was facing started Forte and Decker last night

That's a great start for him, rough for you. Didn't expect Forte to get 3 TDs.

Struggling with my flex position (1/2 PPR, 20 return yards = 1 point)

Lockett (@LA), Hurns (@SD), Mathews (@CHI) and Wallace (@CLE)

My 2 RBs are Spencer Ware (@HOU) and Lacy (@MIN), which is why Mathews is available for flex (although, sitting him here might be debatable too).

Lockett disappointed big last week. I'm in fear of him getting few targets if both Baldwin and Kearse are playing in front of him. But with them playing the Rams (who could conceivably punt 9 or 10 times) and with the return yards factor, I have to give him serious consideration. I threw Wallace in there just cause, but I don't think I can consider him as anything but a fill-in, until the Ravens offense can prove to be a bit more consistent (I don't think I can count on 60+ yard TD strikes every week).

I think Alson is an absolute lock. Note that Philly is without their top CB this week. That shift in the secondary will create opportunities. All things equal, Alshon is your best guy in that group anyway. IMO ... Fuller needs to prove more and I think KC's secondary is better than what they showed last week, so IMO you have two guys for one slot.

I agree that the Saints @ Giants will be a shoot out (which I hope to be true, as I have Eli, OBJ and Cooks going this week). Giants at home and Saints D being perhaps the weakest in the league ... would indicate Shepard ... but he's got OBJ and a surprisingly effective Cruz to contend with and Sneads stat line last week was from another planet. I'd pick Shepard but you can toss a coin. I think it is a nice problem to have.
