Why is Campanaro still on this team? he is always hurt

Yeah, he dropped the ball on the kickoff then fumbled it and is injured on top of that!!!! Kaelin Clay fumbled a punt once and was promptly released, that's a double standard there!

Kaelin Clay wasn't as good of a receiver as Camp is. When did Camp get hurt? I missed that one.

DaCosta pegged his reputation on Campanaro. He was behind the trade that allowed the Ravens to move up to draft Campanaro in the 2014 draft. He pegged Campanaro the new Edelman or Wes Walker even before Campanro played a down in the NFL. I don't pretend to know the behind-the-scene dynamics, but I think that the Ravens have gotten worse with their ability to draft since DaCosta has gotten more and more say. Pre-draft he tends to come out too brash and braggadocious which is unlike Ozzie. In my opinion the reason they are keeping him as GM #2 is not because he is really good, but to protect their trade secrets.

To be fair Campanaro is pretty good. His problem is he cannot stay healthy.

In my opinion there's not enough sample of him playing to say that he is good. His best showing was the Tampa Bay game when Flacco threw like ? 5 TDs in the first half in 2014. Tampa Bay was pretty bad that year. So I'm saying that he might be good but we don't have good evidence of it on film in the NFL. He continuously has been making the roster on potential.

You apparently missed his touchdown against the Steelers. Great play.

If you are going to criticize the Asst. GM, at least spell his name correctly.

My guess is they plan on signing Devin Hester considering camps on IR and butler was cut. And personally I'm shocked but not mad about forsett being cut is about time we start getting younger. I'm also sure once they sign Hester Elam will go on IR or they'll release one of the 7 corners. I'm also sure D.Brown, A.Brown, Lewis-Moore, Brooks and a few others cut will be back but on the PS.

If I'm not mistaken Hester is older not younger.

How many catches has Campanaro made in the NFL? When you look at his stat line, one cannot help but reach a conclusion that he has been making the roster mostly on potential.

He is a legend among some of you fans.

Forsett got the Torrey Smith treatment from Oz. Personally, I never agreed with Oz paying Forsett 3M a year, or whatever, when he could've saved Torrey- Forsett was a product of Kubiak's offense scheme- he was never that great. Still SMH because we have Camp and Elam on our team- I know Camp is a favorite of Harbs though. At least we finally got rid of Brooks and Brown- goes to show you how we wasted high picks on these guys (Elam should also be gone)- anyhow, we are moving in the right direction with these cuts- instead of waiting 3 years to see if these high picks develop (e.g. Kindle), we're finally cutting them loose. that's moving forward in my eyes.

No body is a favorite with Harbaugh if they can't produce. I'm upset about Forsett but I admit I know nothing about the inner workings of the Ravens. It remains to be seen what happens now.

Elam and Kendrick Lewis both stink. They should both be cut.
I would have kept Forsett ahead of Buck Allen. This had to be a money decision, and whose fault is that? Don't know what the Ravens see in this Allen, but I sure don't see it. Hope I am wrong.
Butler did all he could. Apparently he was just a victim of the numbers game. He sure showed he could play.

cutting Forsett is the biggest risk, West is still unproven and Dixon is a rookie, who shows potential but will be coming off a knee injury. TE position needs help, secondary is a huge concern going into this season,

The stats don't show ability. It's not about the number of catches he has made. It's about the talent he displayed that can't be taught. He showed the quickness to get separation, the ability to go up and catch a pass in traffic, good hands, the ability to hang on when getting hit, he converted a few 3rd and longs and made a clutch catch in a playoff game, and he showed great acceleration by turning a loss of yds into a TD. In a very limited amount of snaps, he showed every skill necessary to be a great slot receiver.

I don't see Forsett coming back. He will sign with another team.

At $3M a year? I don't see it unless he reworks his contract.... Just like the Ravens are attempting to do.

does anyone else think we should go after a SHUTDOWN corner if one becomes available??

To do that means you either sacrifice key parts of your existing team, give up the farm in next year's free agency market or stink ever worse this year than last a draft one.....

Justin will be back if he wants a Ring! I Love this attitude by the Ravens the time is now we should have 4 Super Bowls but we don't but we can go back to back if everyone focus! Not buying we not ready or quite there yet line THIS IS OUR YEAR! Just need a "RELENTLESS" effort out the QB to make it happen! He is the Leader of the Pack and has to make players play better like Ray did because WE THE BEST! PERIOD! Maybe I can get "The Perfect Season" now I feel they can pull it off! THE ANTICIPATION IS ASTOUNDING!

Yea, right, And I don't get, "he's the best PR we have." How can anyone tell, he's had FIVE PRs in two years.

Webb and Weddle are the only good safeties they have. Too bad Hill was a head case. Butler's a bit of a head scratcher, but we're not behind the scenes. Forsett and Allen had very similar stats last year. JF-794 yards from scrimmage. BA- 867 YFS. Allen played mostly with the second stringers who filled in for all the injuries. I guess the deciding factors were Allen is nine years younger and makes approx. $2.5 mil/yr. less. Yes, money decision, however looks like Forsett will be back, but I don't believe the Ravens need him.
