I don't understand what goes on in the back office, but I will say from watching Jeremy Butler the last few preseason games (and even flashes over the past years), I'm shocked he was cut!! We have more loyalty to one year veterans than to potential rock stars like Butler.

Gonna start the season with only two healthy backs, and one of them (Buck Allen) is average at best.  Also, thought Brooks was sure to make the team, and Butler too especially with Camp on the IR.  Don't get it.

They should've cut Elam, Kendrick Lewis, James Hurst, and Maurice Canady and have kept, Campanaro, Brooks, Butler, and Forsett.

Camp is on the IR, and Lewis is a better safety than Brooks (coverage-wise).

i agree. some of our CBs are abysmally terrible. Including Jimmy Smith. He has been SLIPPING since his contract!

WOW! Forsett and Butler? I liked Butler being kept on the practice squad for the last couple of seasons and don't know if he's still eligible. I thought Forsett would play out his contract. Reynolds should make the practice squad. Pierce should make the practice squad. They kept Elam and cut Brooks. I knew one or the other was probably gone. Lewis-Moore showed up a little late. Arthur Brown is not a shocker but should find a team. Levine has been a stud and should start ILB next to Mosley. Carter made the team?
