IMHO this is mostly about knowing their options prior to final cuts. Hard to imagine them singing a PR specialist with a number of tough choices needing to be made. Hester would need to contribute in the receiving game to make this move worthwhile and at 33 I just don't see it.

That's what I was thinking, but since they waived Butler and Campanaro it looks like they are going with 5 wr and 1 kick returner.

if he is healthy, Hester would be a big upgrade over Camp, as a returner and receiver.

Right now it looks like Webb returning punts. Camp is on IR. Ravens have seven DL, Nine LB, and 12 DB. Most likely would have to cut one of those guys to make room on the roster for Hester and I say no can do. Not after cutting Butler. Can Chris Moore or Mike Wallace return Kickoffs? Cut OLB Chris Carter? I don't want to put DT Pierce or Henry on the practice squad. Reynolds should make the PS. Canady or Price to the PS?

With Hester's arrival, SSS has another AARP member to take out for discounted dinners and insurance discounts. I want to see DH breakaway into tremendous runs with (solid) blocking ahead. Hester can's do it without the ST. Hester's' other secret is that he can block and play a pivotal role as a slot or go route receiver.
