It is good to have some of these guys back, especially Brandon Williams, Dennis Pitta, and Maxx WIlliams. Hopefully Doom will be ready for Week 1.

All the non practicing players intrigue me. Are they not practicing because of injuries or because they've been cut? I'm talking about the players on the bubble of coures.

Really critical that at least one of Pitta and Maxx be ready for week 1. Going in with Gillmore as the only TE would be very limiting. Also - will be critical that 2 of these three be around at all times, at least until Waller comes off suspension.

Getting healthy just at the  right time. Suggs, sss., Doom, perriman, now pitta and maxx.

If we can win the first two games and then get Dixon back teams better watch out. We might just steamroll through the first half of the season. An opening day win at the bank will be huge for team morale. ESP a distinctive victory by 14 or more.

Evidently we won't know that until 4-ish?
That is my thought process on it.

Doom didn't practice today... Also, I agree that we have to get off to a torrid start to be successful. A loss to the Bills won't bode well for our team's chances down the road imho.

He's off the pup though correct? Did he have a setback or is it just a precaution type thing.

Yes he is off the PUP. But, don't know but I think he hasn't had like a full practice yet I think. It could be a precaution thing as well, but its hard to say.

Didn't they indicate it was some type of back issue?

I don't recall them saying that. If its undisclosed usually they want to keep it that way. But come Thursday I believe a full injury report has to be issued with full disclosure.

What a difference a year makes. So many veteran players returning. Plus keeping an offensive coordinator for more than a year...feels like we'll be back to our former self (team) prior to 2013-15...<-this period had so much instability I'm proud how this team kept together thru it...But honestly it's SO good to be past that era of transitions and injuries (most injuries of NFL last year).
