I'd still like for them to give Chris Moore some practice at kick returner for the future. Moore has the speed to excel there; he's probably going to be inactive quite often as the 5th or 6th WR, so adding return skills to his game could help him make the game-day active roster; he could be insurance for if Hester gets hurt or simply underperforms; and frankly, we need to look to the future at P/K returner anyway--there's no telling who will be returning punts and kicks for this team next year.

returners needs good decision making , good vision , more agility and acceleration rather then just pure speed.

guys with speed only make guaranteed good returners in madden.

real life they require a lil bit more then speed.

hester really wasn't the fastest but his ability to change direction and maintaining his speed paired with his good vision is what made him a good returner.

Hester will bring crucial 'decision-making' that will be even more important than ever with the 'new' kick-off rules. There will be more aggressive tactics use by every kicker to gain field advantages and/or completely throw-off inexperienced returners. Because of this, I'm glad our FO had the wisdom to try ensure that at the 'very' least we have a guy that's been there and done that at a high level (the best in history).

I'm not looking for Hester to run back kicks/punts for TDs this season (although that would be nice). I'm expecting that he doesn't make crucial mistakes and gives us reasonable field position. Everything else is...desert.

I think he might be able to get 2 in the endzone, we have had good ST blocking in the past.  But ill just take a good field position and be happy

Agreed. I'm thinking he'll get 2 or 3 somewhere as the season goes on just playing like a Raven.

From his interviews and past team performances, he seems to be committed to and driven-by the respect and dedication to a positive team culture (Family). The only times he hasn't been able to have successful campaigns (very few times) is when that culture doesn't exist. When it's right - Hester's right.

He's in the right place - at the right time. Now...if we could only get Deion some tickets...
