The more I see of Ryan Anderson the more I like him compared to Williams

I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of Anderson after watching a game of his earlier and focusing on him there but watching him here he is playing very well and honestly better than Tim Williams. He's pretty explosive off the snap but he can go too high up the field, which is annoying.  Still, I like what I am seeing from Anderson.  I think he is playing better than Williams this game.

Anderson again - pressure on 2nd down, then set the edge and came back inside to make a tackle on 3rd.

People only watch Williams and sacks but this dude does everything, every single game.

He's definitely an impressive player. I'm surprised at how quiet Williams has been in this game to be honest.

tim williams is still the premier rusher (and 3rd in the class) - but anderson is certainly making his case to rise up team's boards - he looks like he's a fiery leader as well

imagine picking up him and tim williams at 16 and 48 - (there's a chance they both make it to those picks)

clemson is doing well keeping williams off the field - he comes in mainly on obvious pass rushing downs - but clemson is getting some good gains on first down or is making sure they run it when he's on the field but yeah ryan anderson is the one who's killing it in this one (might be because he's out there for more snaps)

Something tells me we'd have to trade up a few picks in the 2nd round.

That'd be cool but I'm not so sure it could happen. They probably go both on day 1.

Good writeup on Anderson:

not sure - i saw a live mock yesterday where all kinds of pass rushers who would probably be ahead of him on most big boards were still on the board at 45 (where they ended the mock) including him - now it was an interactive mock etc. so it doesnt tell you everything but there are a lot of edge rushers in the class

i dont think theres even a chance anderson goes day 1 unless he becomes someone's darling at the combine - myles garrett, derek barnett, tim williams, charles harris, tj watt, takk mckinley, harold landry who are definitely going to go ahead of him might not all go in the 1st and then taco charlton, dawuane smoot, carl lawson (who could go in the 1st if teams assuage his injury doubts) might also be ahead of him - so anderson could be at least the 11th edge guy on some big boards - and some of those guys are definite 2nd rounders

not that it will happen - but i really do think both players might be there when we pick (not that we'd necessarily take them at those spots if better players are available...)

8/19 for 48 yards from Hurts in the air so far, that has to improve.

Make that 8/20.

To be fair to him there's been 3 or 4 easy catches that the WR's have dropped but it's all so predictable.
