Washington played away only one ranked team. The rest of their schedule isn't the hardest one around, to put it mildly.

I get that. But they're undefeated regardless. They shouldn't go down the rankings over a team that lost a game. Especially a game where they lost to your Tide 33-14.

I think that has a lot to do with it as well, their only loss was away to 1st ranked team.

That argument would be more compelling if the game was more competitive, but whatever. It's all a moot point now.

Florida State's Jimbo Fisher is being connected to the LSU job again

For the second straight year, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher has been connected to the head-coaching gig at LSU.

When Les Miles’ status with the Tigers was up in the air last year, representatives for Fisher, the former LSU offensive coordinator (including the national title-winning team in 2003), were reportedly in contact with the university. The school opted to keep Miles after last season, but moved on from him after a 2-2 start this year.

According to a report from the New Orleans Times-Picayune, LSU again has its sights set on Fisher. The report says Fisher, who is in his seventh season as FSU’s head coach, and current interim head coach Ed Orgeron “have emerged as strong candidates” to replace Miles.

All Michigan has to do now is win their final two games, or at least look respectable in them, get to the B1G Championship and win that, and they'll be in.

I can see why the 49ers fired Jim Harbaugh. He's a choke artist. He cant win the big one. Just like Marty Shotemheimer couldn't get the Browns in the Super Bowl
