Yea Shepard alone would have to outperform Correa, Chris Moore, and Matt Judon for us to regret it. And, at least in terms of what we've seen from all the players in pre-season I'll take our haul.

Moore looks like a play maker with crisp routes and sure hands (that diving catch on 3rd down was a thing of beauty... and we havent even seen his game-breaking deep ability yet) and Judon looks like that knack for getting after the QB wasnt just a product of being a big fish in a small pond. And it's been more than that, he's blown up screens, swarmed to the ball, and been pretty stout against the run.

And Correa needs time to judge. He's had a whole lot added to his plate on top of difficulty of simply transitioning from the college game to the NFL. He was always going to be a bit of a tweener in our defense, as he's probably best suited as a 4-3 OLB... but he's already looked good in coverage, and he's always near the ball. Once the game slows down for him, his playing speed and reaction time will increase to where instead of just being around the ball he'll be making plays on the ball.

I dont think they regret the trade one bit at this point - i sure dont. Of course, only time will tell but the early results are encouraging.

After game 1, still regret the move.

Nothing against Shepard but I thought he was a high floor, low ceiling prospect. I wasn't big on the Chris Moore pick after the draft, but I'm pretty encouraged with what we've seen so far from him. I think Moore could end up better than Shepard, but could also end up worse.

Definitely gonna need to get some young Receivers on the team soon though, I don't think Aiken sticks around after this season and with SSR retiring, the team will need some young WRs to compete with (foreseeably) Camp and Reynolds for those last roster spots.

I definitely agree that we must get young. Having Sheppard we wouldn't need Camp/Reynolds and would have SSS replacement next year. Also, Butler would be still on my roster. Giving me Wallace, Perriman, Shepard, Butler and maybe Aiken moving on. But it's all in hindsight.

This is kinda a good news for the Ravens and Camp. He could come back or try to go somewhere else but Harbs would like him back if there are some injuries or Hester signing doenst work out well. Its a win win situation
