The final cuts

137 yards and 1 TD and a 9 yard rushing TD that everyone lost their mind over,  in two NFL seasons....im sure a lot of players have put up stats like that and never played another down.  I cant tell if you were agreeing with me or not lol.

Also, about cutting Reynolds: I was very very unhappy with that pick, not just because I wanted Jakeem Grant, but it was clear he wasn't a NFL player and its not like we have a great track record of developing offensive weapons.  It just didn't make sense to me.  And it has nothing to do with him being in the Navy.

I meant more in terms of tape.  Not that he's a world beater, but I think we know he's an NFL quality receiver.  The problem is he's just way too injury prone.  Can you really trust him with a roster spot?

To all the Camp haters. He has made plays when healthy unless yall were taking a snooze or digging in the fridge at the time. He hasn't been targeted a lot since they was sending him deep a lot opening up the underneath for guys like Butler and Mathews to be targeted. This could be done for a reason but shhhhh. We must be silent and not talk about this.

I think Pierce also makes the team and Urban and especially Davis need to look over their shoulders cuz there is a boulder picking up steam coming down the mountain. Potential can get you fired.

I'm gonna have to ask if you have any proof of this since his skill set really doesn't support this.

I actually think the Ravens have gotten significantly better with offensive development at skill positions since Hammock and Engram got here.

I hope so, I just haven't seen anyone really develop.  When did they get here?

Have you read anything I wrote previously?  I have been advocating that he needs to go early in the offseason because of his injuries, even though I wanted him to succeed there just isn't a point holding on to a guy that never....ever....contributes.  Also, he's healthy now, its not like he went crazy during preseason putting up monster numbers, he barely put up any numbers.

From the entire time Camp has been here, I remember one 9 yard TD run, it was nice...

2014 for both.

With Hammock, Taliafero actually looked really good, Forsett obviously had an excellent year, and Dixon is looking like a stud and should be the starter sooner rather than later.

The real prize for Engram is Kamar Aiken, who did really well last year, but might take a step back just due to depth. Perriman, who everyone here thought of purely as a speedster, showed real physicality and route running prowess last night to just turn his man around. And while I don't necessarily agree with the notion that Wallace was always a speedster, Engram has obviously had an influence and his hands look vastly better.

I like Camp but he's getting outplayed by a lot of guys right now. It's not just the WRs, its guy like Michael Pierce, Matt Judon, Kenneth Dixon, and plenty of others who will push him further. I really would like him to get another shot since he's pretty talented and we could really use a slot WR in the future but he just can't stay healthy and hasn't played well.

How am I gonna have any proof. I'm not one of the coaches. But his pass routes are suspicious.

He Had a 2 game stretch where he made numerous catches and was stepping up as a playmaker before he went down again. If you remember the 9 yd run then you should these games. The injuries is what has been killing him.

I wonder how much is Engram and how much is having Steve Smith out there.

There's no doubt that having a mentor like Steve Smith out there helps and for the defense, it's Suggs, but don't discount coaching and Engram has been good since arriving here.

None.  Can't even sign guys to the practice squad yet.  I'm guessing that's his hope.

who knows but this isn't the first time The Ravens have had vested vets(Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason) like Steve Smith on the roster and still had trouble developing  younger receivers  .

I went to an ACC school and got to see Pitt every single year. He's coached some of the most dynamic receiver duos in the nation and had the top duo in 2013, in terms of yardage.

Yea I guess we could say Aiken was a good result of that.  Good to know though.

In 2014 he played in 4 games: 2-28, 1-17, 3-40, 1-17.

In 2015 he played in 4 games: 1-8, 0, 2-11, 2-16.

In the receiving game I see nothing there that offers any type of value.  Now, if we look at returns, then yes, I can get behind that, but last night showed he cant be counted on.

Yeah it looks like last year he wasn't utilized under Trestman and was used more under Kubiak. It must have been 2 yrs ago that I was thinking and not last year lol when he got injured but he was starting to look like a solid contributor.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow what the deal is. Thanks for coming up with the info Charles.

No problem, Im at work so im glad to bust out some numbers.  I remember when we drafted him, I was so excited and I knew he wouldn't come in right away and contribute, but I was always rooting for him and if he would of stayed healthy those two years, I think we all are looking at a different player.  IF

24 hours after they're cut.  They have to pass through waivers.

One thing I find odd, we gave Camp two years to develop (if he is cut) but are going to cut Reynolds before the season even starts.  Our depth at WR now could be the reason compared to how its been previously.

Patterson is nowhere near the reciever Camp is. He can't run routes and isn't very smart

Doesn't count. That was on ice, advantage offense.

So quick question- Baltimore Beatdown sees Keenan Reynolds getting scooped up by another team. I do not. I think Reynolds is too much of a project to get claimed by another team.

Anyone see him getting claimed?

I'd like to think he'd make it though, as I'm not sure he would have been drafted if we didn't take him... except for New England.  If they really liked him as much as has been led on, I think that could be a destination.  Otherwise, I can't see a team using a 53 man spot on him.

Here is the problem.
IF he doesn't catch on in the waiver process (and as a result make a teams 53.) Then the Navy will likely require his time to serve. So I doubt practice squad is an option for him.
