Buffalo's a fine team but honestly I think we match up really well with them, it certainly won't be a blowout, but I think we'll take this with a comfortable 24-9.

Yeah, that's how I see it too. I got nothing but love for Taylor and I like Watkins too, but the rest of the team just doesn't match well with the Ravens right now. The Ravens will shut down McCoy, and I don't see the Bills defense getting much pressure. Flacco without pressure, throwing to a healthy Perriman, Moore, Aiken, and Wallace is just really hard to defend against.

im really quite flabbergasted... i think thats the best word to describe it... that this bills fan came in here, cool as a cucumber, as polite as could be, asked a few questions about the gameday experience.... and then completely out of nowhere, casual as ever, compared ray lewis' obstruction of justice to OJ's double throat slitting... as if it was a totally normal thing to just mention, like oh yea by the way we had a player murder 2 people and people like to joke that you had a player do the same thing hurrdurr...

what in the hell was homeboy thinking...

Trolling..

I'm guilty of such innovative trolling on Steelers and Patriots websites myself! But I detest it when somebody does it to us. It hurts!

Right now the Ravens are the great unknown. They could be a better version of the Super Bowl contending team that people thought they'd be after blowing 2 14 point leads in the playoffs vs the Pats. OR last year could have really exposed some organizational flaws that this team will have to do some seriously work to correct. I personally feel as though they are a better version than the team many thought would compete for the Super Bowl last year.

In terms of this first game, I really like the matchup. One of the common things i've been hearing all week is that the Bills are easily the more talented team. I can't disagree with this statement because I don't know the Bills team well enough. However what I will say is that in order for the Bills to have more talent and depth than this Ravens team they must have some serious talent on that team. For the Ravens while talented, they are completely unproven. Yeah there are a lot of proven guys on the team, but because of injuries some of those guys now have something to prove. Also the Ravens could have as many as 7 maybe 8 rookies who will be called upon in some capacity this game. That's a lot of young and inexperience players but all of those guys have crazy talent. Then you have guys like Perriman, Z, Orr, Davis, West, Williams, Allen who are young and the team will be calling on them to set up. So while talented, it's either unproven talent or proven talent that's coming off injury.

In terms of the matchup, if the oline holds up well I think the Ravens will have a great showing. I'm really excited about the possibilities of passing game and I think the Bills presence a great test downfield. I think the problem that will be presented to the Bills is the Ravens will roll out different packages so it once just be game planing for SSS or Wallace. It won't just be gameplaning for TEs or gameplaning for speed. I think the Ravens will put great pressure on the Bills aggressive defense. It's hard to say the Ravens will score a ton of points because we just don't know what to expect. However I will say they score 31 points this game and if the defense can stay aggressive forcing TOs like they've been working on they could hold the Bills to 13-16 points.

So i'll go with 31-13 Ravens.

I don't either and that's the sad part.People actually believe Ray killed someone when all he did was refuse to talk.Whenever I look under a Ray Lewis tweet or a tweet about Ray Lewis by ESPN or something, all I see is murder jokes. It honestly blows my mind.

Yes he was. Very creative and innovative way to put our guards down and then slip in something so controversial and false very nonchalantly. It was very creative trolling.

People are so misinformed and the sad part is that as fans we allow things like that to get under our skin. It doesn't seem to brother Ray Lewis personally or professionally. His case only seems to come up when someone wants to attack us as a fanbase and we fall for it often times. It blows my mind that people think that situation is joke worthy and also that it gets under our skin a fans.

If that's the case than I applaud him because it's not that serious.

That was the first thing I thought, and then I re-read it again to be sure. He lured us in and then several fans bit.  He's gone.

Alex Lewis is starting at LG

Wonderful! The first game is the best time to establish the left side of the O-line! If they perform well in protecting Joe today, you can be assured the coaches have a high degree of confidence in them. This is beginning to make our draft look really good! If only Correa and Kaufusi (next year) can perform to expectation, this will turn out to be a legendary draft class.

Rookie Left side, interesting to see how the bills attack it.

If they're innovative and knowing Rex's creativity, they'll leave the left side alone and bring in a ton of heat from the right side where no one is expecting it....

Is Pitta starting at TE?

#Ravens TE Dennis Pitta (dislocated finger) will not only play but start. It's his first action since a major hip injury in 2104. Very cool.

I don't really believe too many people at all think Ray Lewis had anything to do with those murders.   What it is, is bitter, hateful people, who have WAY too much time on their  hands, and let rage and jealousy control their lives. Pretty much hate winners, cause they continue to lose. That's why everyone hates on the Patriots, Yankees, etc., and don't give a crap about the Bills or Browns.  And Frankly, if this really bothers anyone, you probably should stay away from the internet, TV, radio, etc., cause it will always be this way.

Wow - that's a major shock. I've had to pick up a TE to fill in for injury in fantasy and I opted for Gillmore ... I wonder if I should pick up Pitta instead?

This team ... who they are going to utilize and to what extent ... is a massive mystery. Forsett or West ... Which of our WRs are going to see the majority of the targets when we have so many who are worthy, but no clear #1 target (SSS might be it, but is he really recovered from his injury?). Its crazy and is part of the reason why we just don't know what to expect in terms of outcome either.

Very exciting though which makes for great anticipation to the start of this season.

This is going to be an ugly way to open the season but today we will see just how unprepared we are in almost every phase of the game. Wallace and Perriman will be ineffective because Joe will not have time to get comfortable in the pocket. We have no downhill RBs and it will be apparent. We could have drafted Tyler Boyd but instead a wasted 2nd round pick leaves us with another gaping hole. Tyrod Taylor has something to prove and he will run all over us and today it's going to look like we should have kept Taylor and let Flacco go. I'm embarrassed by what the outcome will look like.  I'm already looking at next week and worrying about the Cleveland Browns new look offense.

Well... You should be embarrassed of the outcome... Since you so adamantly predicted the exact opposite of the outcome.

Funny how wrong you are since I predicted exactly how many points the Ravens scored but of course you can't see that. You only see what you want to see. I'm not embarrassed at all in fact even tho we one - we won because Buffalo was just plain awful and Tyrod looked pathetic. Fortunately we are blessed with an easy early season schedule.
