Anybody have any knowledge or guesses about the injury for Maxx?  "Undisclosed" tells me its something they don't want opposing teams to know about - knee, ankle, ribs, etc.

Isn't that Nick Boyle on the left side image? It's almost surely not Maxx Williams, for it's sure not #87 on his jersey - I think it's #86, Nick Boyle.

Yes it is Nick Boyle in the image on the left haha! Its kinda fitting tho because he's better than Maxx Williams, sucks he got suspended. If you can't tell I am not a fan of Max Williams...at all.

The same Dixon that dropped everything? Waller is already better then Dixon IMO.

Come Sept. 11...911...Williams and Pitta as well as Gilmore will be ready to go. Harbaugh already clearly said he wants pre season games eliminated. Think he hasn't found a reason to keep these guys in the wings waiting for Buffalo.
He had to play Flacco but he knew that was minimal risk and that he is as healthy as he has ever been. Plus with Josh J. and Mallet he probably feels we are deeper than any other NFL team at QB. IMO the ravens will keep 3 QBs this year due to the outstanding play of Johnson......if we cut him the Steelers will take him instantly. Can't have that.
What I can't wait to see is Perriman line it up. This guy may be "uncoverable". He will draw such a big part of the coverage that Wallace, Aiken and Smith should have a field day. It's hard to put a price on Joe's big arm and the threat it poses to defenses with these receivers. I may be the only one that sees this but this is a lethal offense. With a road grader offensive line and 3 fast scat backs, not to mention 2 of the top 5 TE's in the NFL, they should put up 30 by the 3rd Q against anybody.
I just put $100 on them to win the whole thing at 35 to 1 odds. If they stay healthy no one will ever get those odds again.

If we keep 5 backs, 7 WRs, and we keep Waller, a 4th TE, when he's eligible to return, I don't see us using a roster spot on a 3rd qb. We have too many good players fighting for a roster spot to keep someone who has very little chance of ever seeing the field.

As far as our offense goes, I think we can be lethal as well. My only concern right now is how Trestman is going to use everyone. There's only 1 ball to go around, and we have about 12 or 13 skill players that I think can make plays.

It still drives me nuts that Pitta's injury was self-inflicted in a scuffle. This organization has stood by him and has paid him so much money during his two lengthy hip injuries and recoveries to have something like this sideline him.

It's not necessaryily wise to judge by their rookie seasons. In their rookie seasons Ed Dickson was much better tan Pitta, for example...

TE's typically take a season or two to fully acclimate to the NFL. Williams may be fine this season or the next one.
