OK Maxx Williams injury is undisclosed! Does anybody know what that means??

Not sure but I'd guess muscle related like a strain or slight pull, etc. Might not be disclosed to prevent targeting.

I would love to get Paul Kruger back.

Kruger is just not a very good athlete, and he never has been, but being 30 makes him even slower. His pass rushing moves are just so mechanical, there is no fluidity there. And you have to remember Kruger looked like he was going to be a bust for us in the first three years of his career (he's only really had two good seasons out of the seven that he has played). He only got a chance to compete in his fourth year because Suggs was out. The overwhelming majority of his sacks come when the cornerbacks have locked down the receivers, and the QB has to hold onto the ball. The guy is persistent, but I don't really see him as a major upgrade over anyone that we have.

Yup. He was a solid player but relied more on coverage sacks than making them happen.

It was Ngata who said he wants to come back...not Kruger. Kruger is not Ravens material any longer, I dont know if Nagta will be either. I thought Elam was looking pretty good before the injury, I think he clears waivers or excepts IR for next year. He needs NFL maturity, he shows the athleticism. Many safeties take a while to develop in the NFL. Ravens need DB depth in case of emergencies. Success so far is one name Stanley.

If Butler does not make the 53 man roster... one would have to ask what does it take? And secondly who called the shot?

Why? We have Suggs, Doom, Zadarius,Correa and Judon already. Who are you going to keep out of the 53 to get Kruger in. I don't see any upside in getting Kruger now over any of the young bucks we have developing here. So, unless Doom or Sizzle were injured and out, I see zero reason to even think about Kruger.

Everyone is laughing about the bats on the field. However, bats carry rabies and have been reported to spread it without a bite (granted usually in an enclosed space). However, it is not farfetched to have a player with an open cut fall on that area of the field and inoculate the wound.

Incidents are rare where bats carry rabies.  They are very helpful mammals who eat more than their share of mosquitos.  I was wondering about the photographer who was focused on the bats rather than the amazing play that Butler made.

Butler knows the playbook and has proven that he can make the plays.  I see him sneaking through on the 53 man roster.  What happens when the injured and suspended Ravens return will determine his future later on.

I enjoyed watching Ngata with the Ravens.  Still, I would like to see them sign Willians to an extension rather than resign him.

Butler is on the team. No Worries. Smith, Aiken, Wallace, Butler, Perriman are locks. IMO the decision is Moore vs. Campanaro. I would 1000% take Moore for his upside and shorter medical history. IDK how we could keep 7 WR's. Maybe a trade will happen, but I like our guys.

Yeah. Just like l said earlier, we don't have a roster spot to sign Kruger anyway if we wanted to. I was just thinking "yeah, l wouldn't mind having Kruger back." He probably didn't like the Browns anyway LOL. ?

If Campanaro is healthy, we're keeping him. period. And Moore is on the the team for sure. Butler is not a lock yet, I don't know why people over react to PREseason

Elam stinks. I have been saying it for years. FINALLY, the Ravens woke up, admitted that they blew a number one draft pick, and got rid of him (I hope). Whoever decided this guy should be drafted with a number 1 pick should be fired.
Kruger and Ngata can go fly the same kite. I wouldn't want either of them. Kruger's production has fallen badly and he is 30. Not likely to ever be what he was here. Ngata "wants to return". Yeah, right. He wants some sucker to pick up a big fat paycheck when he is "done with the lions". Go away.

But, I guress, you don't think for a moment that Ozzie will even consider paying starting edge rusherr money for a backup - and be sure Kruger will be offered starting level money elsewhere...
So, even if Ozzie considered giving Kruger a call (which I don't think ever occurred in the first place), it would not go beyond the point of mentioning the sum...

He wasn't neccessary focused on the bats - he may have noticed it later, at the post-process?

As for the bats being more useful than dangerous - couldn't agree more.

Only if we fire fans from being fans for making similarly dumb decisions as well.

Its all about accountability, even when you're a fan.

First off I disagree with your premise that they blew Elam's pick. Remember Elam has mostly been hurt. Last year during TC there was chatter about how much Elam had improved but sadly tore his biceps and was placed on IR. Same thing this year, injured and potential IR. He was in fact playing better than Brooks was and would've made the 53 man roster. I don't believe the Ravens can plan or draft less injury prone players especially if their past indicated no injury history? How the heck do you do that? You check him medically and he's cleared and he has no prior history.

As for Ngata and Kruger, they won't be back unless of course they want to retire a Raven wherein they'll both sign a one day contract and that would be it. Ngata may want to come back to Baltimore but I believe he's lost a lot of goodwill here with comments he's made in Detroit. So, there I may have more agreement with you but wouldn't be as bitter as you seem to be.

Moore is a lock. Campanaro Is a lock. No decision there. The only decision would have been Butler but Watson's injury along with Butler's consistent play solidified his spot as the 7th receiver.

I'm surprised a team like Denver hasn't called Ozzie offering something up for mallet. Not that I would take it anyway.

Agree with you about Butler. The Watson injury should enable him to make the roster, but with seven WR, you would have to think that at least one, possibly two will be game day inactive scratches. Probably Moore, but could easily also be Butler. So could be hard for some of these guys to get playing time, unless injuries occur.

With Mallet, I think people in B-more are more sold on him for beating the squealers. Remember, he doesn't have that spectacular a track record, and has been labeled a prima-donna and hard to get along with type by other teams. And with Flacco's injury last year, the Raven's are certainly keeping a capable back up QB, so I see no way they would trade Mallet unless someone was willing to give up the moon, which ain't happening.

Small sample size for Stanley - true. Still, with the number of plays he has logged, there have been ample opportunities for flaws in his game to show.

I said the only way for Stanley to get OROY would be to have an All-Pro season. He's had an All-Pro Pre-season. Undoubtedly the best player taken in this draft. Best LT drafted in 20 years? 1996 Ravens draft Jonathon Ogden. I always wondered what Joe would look like with Ogden protecting his blindside. Ogden retired in June of 2008, right before Joe's rookie season.

This group of WR's is the best the Ravens ever had. Hands down.
