Best and worst looking unis around the league?

7 posts in this topic

what are some of your favorite looks in the nfl? for the ravens my favorite look is the black jersey and white pants, it looks more intimidating than the purple and doesnt have the leotard look.

my favorites for other teams are:

phillys all whites, such a clean look.

titans all whites, again, super clean, white head to toe with a blend of baby blue and navy, but the unis are absolutely HIDEOUS when they wear any colored variation of the jersey or pants in any combo, all white is a great look and the rest are absolutely horrible, no middle ground.

i will get hate for this, but i really like the look of the steelers old primetime unis, before the bumblebees, the ones with the silver pants, yellow numbers and yellow helmet, as sick as it makes me to say this...

seattles all blue, good blend of class and intimidation in a really well done modern look

miamis white and minnesotas home unis are really well done, great minimalist style.

buffalos blue on white is a classic look

for the worst:

every afc north opponent, every steelers uni except for the one named above looks like garbage, the bengals are hideous with their skinny rounded numbers and stripes everywhere, and the browns actually made themselves uglier.

the bucs and jags, the bucs 2nd uniform was a great one imo and didnt need changing, the jags are the same, i think the whole black look for them went way overboard and the helmets are cringeworthy.

never liked the packers, the shade of green is hideous

i hate the bears numbering, i love the color though, works well for a town like chicago.

ive always thought the patriots were a clean and classy look, but so incredibly boring, dark blue and silver, yawn.

every colored titans uni, as stated above.

the falcons, good god that uniform is a jumbled mess of WHAT?! what are all those random stripes and triangles at the armpits?

the redskins, those pants gotta go. yall need to bring the white pants back because them yellows are busted, even that couldnt save that hideous color combination. i could never see those uniforms and expect a good performance.

the rams, they modernized and then the modernization got dated, same way the jets/giants/pats did in the 90s. the white/gold/white/blue/white/gold/white stripes down the side of the pants look absolutely horrible and out of place, and the arced stripe with the barely visible tiny ram logo on the shoulders looks bad.

cardianls, whats the deal with unis made in the  mid 2000s and armpit triangles?

carolina could have a really good looking uni if they would  get rid of those god awful misshapen shoulder stripes. also the teal looks so much better than the black.

I liked them too. I didn't like that the shoulders stayed blue though, that really threw it off. I loved their old unis in general and I never understood all the flack they got

I actually like our white Jersey and black pants the best of all our uniforms. Yes, more than the blackout, but our blackout is the best imo.

I really like the Raiders uniform a lot. I like the Patriots uniform as well. The Indy uniforms are also a classic and one of the very best.

I've always liked the Charger's powder blues and the bolt on the helmets. Pretty sweet looking when they are playing on that deep green California grass!  lol

Just me, but I don't like anything about the Seahawks unis.

As far as the Ravens go I have to agree with Grim, white on black is the best. Just looks clean and sharp.
