Watson, Pitta, Elam, Dixon...all out for significant periods of time and we're not even done with the preseason. The injury issues that have crippled this team the last 2 years are, unfortunately, already starting to negatively impact the Ravens as they get ready for the upcoming season. Ridiculous.

Dang, I was so high on Dixon. He is clearly the most talented back we have, and that 20 yard run where he dragged the entire team was crazy! I wish there was a more definitive update on the severity of the injury. Everyone cross fingers/pray/ use some superstition on the MRI bringing some good news. This kid is the future!

On the replay, to me it just looked like he hyperextended his left knee a little. I dont think it helped that his helmet slammed into the turf either, but he should be ok in a few weeks. Since we have depth at RB, I dont think it is a huge problem to let him heal up for a few weeks. Changes are one of the other guys will get dinged in the meantime, and Dixon can be fresh for a mid season gradual introduction to get some snaps as he is healthy.

The only serious injury here is Watson.
Pitta's finger was a stupid, self-inflicted injury and did not occur while playing.
Pitta, Elam and Dixon will all be back soon.

hope it's a low grade sprain,probably an mcl sprain,he's a tough guy,HALOTI NGTA has a history of breaking legs,just ask RG3! lol.he doesn't mean too,he's just a beast,wish he was back.

So I expect him back around week 4..which is good BC that's when we really will need him back. We can get through buffalo and Cleveland just fine with what we've got. West can get it done and the boost from sss and perriman will be crucial. We've got weapons this year guys..even without Watson.
