Man!.. I'm glad he decided to come back for another season. It just would not have been right for him to go after all the bad stuff that happened last season.

I could not agree more. I just can't get enough of seeing SSS in a Raven's uniform!!!!!!!

I wish every Raven had the same chip on his shoulder.

I'm quite sure they do but just have a different way of showing it. You don't become a Raven unless you have that chip. Don't underestimate any of our players desire or grit.

yeah but our players ,except for a very few, dont have that chip. The need and ability to reek havoc on every play. Make the other team play with their head on a swivel and their hearts in their throats like when Ray, Ed, Goose, or Jamal Lewis (he hurt guys when he ran) played.

I've put up several posts today that share this sentiment. This year, I do not want to see any sign of what I'd call playing scared defense. It has been the model for the past 2 seasons and in both cases I've been told we have had no choice but to be passive because of the lack of personnel due to injury. If we keep the guys we currently are fielding reasonably healthy, then we better see some of that flying to the ball and punishing hits (well, within the rules ...) that was the hallmark of "Playing Like a Raven".

I agree,and most people do,it's a sissy league now,SSR. will probably be one of the last of the old school,i remember RAY-RAY sayin,it's rainning outside and were not out practicing in it? were inside today,you can't touch a reciever,you can't touch a qb.,wheres the XFL when you need it?
