No doubt about it... for once Joe will have all the tools necessary to live up to his contract. Lets hope it happens!

Just so long as Flacco finishes healthy and gets the reps he wants this week and only plays a series in the last pre-season game if any at all. I would prefere him not to play in the final pre-season game but thats just me.

Too many people are getting all scared for nothing. You cannot control injuries. They will happen as they happen. At some point Joe will take some big hits, that's just a fact of playing football in general and especially QB.

At least he didn't cut himself with scissors..

My wish list for joe in game 3. Stay healthy, no turnovers, get pass protection, sustain drives, deep ball, TD

Starters almost never play in the last preseason game.

I really want to see the offense score on two consecutive drives and not score then let the other team come in march down the field and score like every year,i can't remember when we blew a team out,we have no killer intinct,no step on your neck like other great teams,it's like oh,sorry we scored, here ya go we'll let you catch up now, every single game, win or lose comes down to,us going down the field in the last minute or the other team going down the field for a field goal.

Has Mike Wallace been on the field for the past 2 preseason games? Hearing that Flacco has built a bit of chemistry with him in camp, I'd like to see them hooking up in this pre-season game.

It will be good to see Joe play, but, his health is the most important aspect here. He has been extremely durable, but, as we saw last year, it only takes one hit to shelve him for the season. Not in a stupid meaningless practice game. What Joe says and what he does are not the same. It will be interesting to see where he is when the whistle blows.

The last time l can remember when we blow a team out was in 2014 when we played Tampa Bay Bucanneers in Tampa when Joe threw for 5 tds in the first half.

Does any body care what Joe accomplishes in preseason? He's a 7 year vet. The only thing that matters in preseason is that none of our best players get hurt. Play the scrubs.
In case no one noticed, this is an unbelievable offense. The line is top 5 and maybe top 2....Lewis and Stanley are monsters to go with Wagner and Yanda. Great draft by Ozzie.
When we put Perriman, Wallace, Smith, Gilmore and Pitta on the field the mismatches will be everywhere. Flacco should be in heaven. The speed of our backs with Forsett, Dixon and West is scary. This has the look of a top 5 offense and should put 30-40 points up a game. The quality of our backups is incredible. Aiken, Moore, Butler , Wiliams, Watson, Allen and Waller will perform at a high level. Plus having Hurshel, Jensen and Hurst gives us a really deep line. If Perriman stays healthy this is a lethal offense.
Our defense should be top 10. If Pees takes of the gloves and lets them play aggressive man to man then we will be a really tough team to beat.

Check this out...we have a better offensive line than Pittsburgh, We have a faster trio of running backs than Pittsburgh. We have 4 TEs that are better than any of the Steeler TEs. And we have a group of 5 receivers ( Perriman, Smith, Aiken, Wallace and TBD-Waller, Butler, Moore) that will embarrass the Steeler secondary.
Add this scenario to the fact that we have a far superior defense to Pittsburgh, especially in the secondary.
This bodes well for us to go 2-0 against them and make it 6-1 over the last 3 years. That makes me smile.

He played in the second game. He was invisible.

Can't wait! Joe explode this year like never before! 5000 yds and 30 TDs!

I'm with you. If we stay healthy I feel Joe can do it!

OK - well, nonetheless, I still have hope that he'll have a rejuvenation of his career here - not anything like what was saw 4-5 years ago, but with a strong armed QB (unlike the one he would have worked with in the 2nd preseason game), that he can at least be considered a threat. Calling him "invisible" makes it sound as if he was worthless, but I don't know if that assessment is based on his being in for 1 or 2 possessions and didn't get a target or if he played for a significant chunk of the game and was ineffective.

I hope to learn more with him in along with Joe. That will mean - how well we do when he's on the field and not only whether he catches the ball.

I'd like to see Joe move the team down the field with ease, hit Perriman on a sideline route, score, then take a seat.

He's not playing Sat.

I'm excited with the screen game we are going to have with the depth at wide receiver and cornerback. Hit Wallace or Perriman on a screen on a 1 on 1 and see if they can take it the distance. I also wanna see those shots this season down the field. We don't have the talent to keep dinking and dunking without struggling to move the chains. I really think the deep game aspect of the team will bring them back to success like it did in 2012. If teams are accounting for Wallace and Perriman then Steve, Aiken, and all the tight ends will get a lot of production underneath.

That makes me smile too! I love rubbing it in Pittsburgh Fans facies around me when they Try & Talk Sugar Honey Ice Tea about Our Team, & they constantly bring up there 7 rings so I just bring up the fact that we swept them last year * the fact that we Won 7 of the Last 11 meetings!! Looking more like we'll sweep them again but I honestly see us dropping at least one this year! But I would love nothing more than To Trash Them Steelers on Christmas Day in Pittsburgh!!! Go Ravens!!

The Fact that we have own them these past few years just Proves we're the Superior team! We have Owned The Squeelers Since like 2013 ha ha I still remember that game Flacco had against them back in the 2014-15 wild card, then he had a solid game against the Pats before Torrey just gave the game away...I Just Have a feeling deep inside me that this is the year we win the division or come very close... we are SI's "Dark Horse" Pick anyway. That has a nice ring to it, don't you thing?

Please..Torrey didn't give anything away. That game is over and done with so let's move on. We have a good chance to make a winning season with the talent we have. Go Ravens.

Hard to believe this is going to be his 9th year.

I don't think that was Wallace's fault.

Wallace will be just fine. I actually think he will have a big season for us this year. Maybe not 1000 yards, but I'm thinking 700-800 and maybe 6-8 TDs. Which, with the weapons we COULD have, that would be a nice contribution.

Also, I'm pretty sure Mallett has a cannon. Not 100% on that, but I remembering hearing he has a strong arm. Nothing like Flacco though. Literally remember watching him at a college skills challenge and he just took a step and chucked one as far as he could, and he threw it 74 yards in the air.
