Yeah he can still make plays for you. I'm not sure how you can totally judge a guy as a RB playing with 3rd string offensive lineman.

Ya, that's not gonna happen. This is only his 2nd year, a bit early to tell how good he is or isn't. He looked pretty good last season so this could just be a sophomore slump

Only scenario I could possibly see is someone trying to trade for Mallett, and us keeping Johnson.

And even that is extremely unlikely to happen.

Anthony Levine Sr is the next Corey Graham making plays. I would let him start somewhere in the defense.

I agree - it seems like people get too enamored with late performances by players with zero experience. I know some think - we'll if Joe goes down we're done anyway, but that's not what a back up is really about. It is for if a QB goes out for 2-3 games, we can't lose a playoff spot by going 0-2 or 0-3 during the stretch. They want a guy who gives us the best chance of managing those few games and I have to think the team will view Mallett as being the one that gives us the best chance in that scenario.

I can see dallas calling us because romo is just too injury prone. He is out half this season and will probably retire soon

Mike Wallace and Butler should trade their numbers have Mike Wallace get number 17 back and have Bulter get number 12. If Matthews gets cut give Butler number 13.

I think he's not playing well enough in practice to warrant playing time... maybe
