Levine's game-winning INT and pick-2 was lower than some lesser returns.

Very happy to hear Joe will be playing Saturday

I'm not too worried about Steve Smith and Perriman potentially missing the next pre-season game. We all know what Flacco and SSS can do and how much they are on the same page - and we also all know that Flacco and Perriman cannot possibly be anywhere near the same page yet - so, seeing Flacco over-/underthrow him or the timing slightly off may make it seem like there's a problem which actually isn't there.

What I'll be excited to watch is Flacco's rapport with Wallace and Ben Watson. Both are reported to be quite promising, so it should be fun watching it in real action.

Was really hoping to see the Flacco Pita connection once again, shame. My finger is broken too, I can channel his struggling for now lol.

Watson and Wallace should be interesting to watch.

And don't forget about Flacco and Chris Moore. IMO that will be interesting to watch.

Having fractured my pinky finger during my playing days, I can relate all too well with this type of injury. It is probably the most mentally challenging type fo injury to deal with because for the most part you feel great and could be doing what you need to. Unfortunately it only takes one bad catch of block, etc to set you back even further.

Flacco must be grinning these days considering all the play makers he has around him. It will be great to see where he is at and the difference in play calling with Trestman having had a full season in Baltimore now. Get rid of the ball fast while making good decisions and the knee will become an afterthought.

Stanley is a beast! I can't wait to see how he fares against the top pass rushers. I noticed Perriman cut his dreads. I think they were slowing him down ; )

Perriman said he felt faster and that they weighed about 3 lbs.

Yeah, right now Stanley is leading the grade for rookies...makes you glad that we don't have to worry about a position that has caused us headaches for the last few years with Monroe's health issues. I hope Lewis can play great also, and give Joe enough time to get some of his old confidence back and get into synch with some of these new receivers. This looks to be the best talent we've had on offense for a long time, I really hope we can take advantage of it.

I think he had dreads when he ran a 4.25.....so they probably didn't slow him down that much.

Watched both Steeler preseason games and they(granted without Big Ben)looked awful! Ravens fans complain about our secondary, the Pitt secondary is a freakin mess!

Looking forward to seeing Joe on the field. Just hope they sit him next week. Don't want him out there against guys who have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and at any cost = dangerous!

Honestly, that Steelers defense makes you appreciate what we got, even with Pees at the helm. Their secondary is unequivocally worse, and they have no real pass-rushers outside of Heyward and an ancient James Harrison (Jarvis Jones is a bust). Plus their LT situation is a ticking timebomb; I mean, folks here know Hurst is bad, but the Steelers' Villanueva isn't much better. I'd honestly be surprised if Ben plays a full season without missing a game due to injury.

However, their offense has Ben, Brown, and Bell (after susp.), which tickles all of the fantasy football fans and makes them an AFC favorite despite obvious flaws.

IM curious, now that Stanley is our #1 pick....and he has made the grade...continues to work hard....and looks like the real thing..... beside myself and a handful of folks here thought he would be our First round pick and is there someone else you would want now instead?

Let's be honest, he hasn't made the grade yet. He's played well in a few pre-season games, that's nothing compared to some of the games he'll be involved in this season. He's looking good though.

Your not alone. It seems like we all want the old comment section back but admins continuously say they can't do anything about it. I hope they figure out a way to bring back likes and dislikes on the main page before it's too late.

And you can still comment on all the front page articles from there, too.
