[News] Breshad Perriman Returns To Practice

47 posts in this topic

It almost feels like some of you don't want perriman to work out through sheer pride or something. Give the kid a chance, he's had two injuries and only one of them has kept him out of any games so far. Give him a break, it's not his fault that his injury was repeatedly misreported...

Love to see the positive comments. The kid hasn't wanted to be injured and fluke things happen. Let's be glad we have him now and I expect big things from him. However, I love what Butler has been doing too so I hope this isn't an either or but By my numbers if Perriman isn't on PUP to start the year, or one of the tight ends doesn't end up injured, I don't see where there will be a spot for Butler.  UPDATE:. Just saw Pittas injured finger is actually broken. Stupid training camp fight. The bone will need time to heal so is possible Pitta starts on PUP leaving a spot for Butler...

Pitta Can't go on PUP. The deadline for that has already passed.

He's got bad knees, one hit and it's all over. A cough could end this come back, it's time to move on.

Yeah you're right. We should probably just cut him....lol smh.........I'm curious if you're actually a ravens fan or not

Its more than the fact that he's a 1st rounder, but that is definitely a factor. Had he gone down in camp last year and we knew from day one (as we did with KLM and Urban) that he was out for the year, there would be nowhere near the same amount of screeching over him. It was the constant waiting for him to be ready and then having him not be that was driving people crazy.

that's my point - nobody's looking at him with hindsight - we look at urban as unlucky whereas perriman is apparently injury prone yet they had similar injuries

There's more to it than that, I believe. BP was a first rounder at a high profile position, who seems to get hurt without any contact. Urban was a 4th rounder who got hurt, at least while mixing it up in the trenches. I've got nothing for or against either one, I just want the Ravens to win.
Hope they're both healthy for the next ten years, but wouldn't hold my breath.

I wonder how much speed he still has after two knee injuries.

I bet he still has the speed which is something the Ravens have lacked the last few years. No one has the speed this kid had 4.24 on the team. He lit it up in college and I expect him to light it up for the Ravens and can't wait to see it!

Perriman will prove to be a revelation to the rest of the NFL if he remains healthy. I'm convinced that he has a skill set that can't be taught nor can it be easily defended.

Move on? You can't be serious because its ridiculous to move on from potentially the one receiver that can't be defended with his size and speed. He's going to be healthy and sorry I don't buy into his bum knee theory. Bum knees don't lend themselves to a 4.24 40!

I'm hyped for his return but I don't think trying to put him into a game THIS week is a good idea, let him practice with the TEAM for a while and let him take his time. Week one is a more realistic date.

Careful with unrealistic expectations reminds me of our former first round pick sergio kindle we all had hoped he would be the best pass rusher in the nfl to be on the other side of suggs so before we annoint a kid with experience as a god send let him play with no pressure treat him like torrey was raw developing and good at the deep ball no more no less until he gets more time

Can't go on the PUP since he's practiced.
