Ours is similar so I feel your pain. You never know though, Rookies may show up huge this year!

Are these just mock drafts?  My main advice is your drafting your QBs way too early.

10 team league,  2 keepers.  I had Mccoy,  gronk,  aj green,  but I really wanted elliot for the future and I have a hunch about Lacy this year. I had the 3rd overall pick with the snake starting in the 4th.

QB: Rivers (9th)

Winston (10th)

RB: Zeke Elliot (1st)

Eddie Lacy (2nd)

Demarco Murray (5th)

Ryan Matthew's (6th)

Chris Ivory (7th)

Deangelo Williams (11th) this was hard

WR: Mike Evans (3rd)

Sammy Watkins (4th)

Sterling Shepherd (8th)

Devin Funchess (13th)

Corey Coleman (14th)

TE: Antonio Gates (12th)

K: Vinatieri (15th)

Defense: jags (16th)

I really wanted to get DeAndre Washington from Oakland but my rbs are too good imo to justify dropping one of them. It was hard to draft Williams,  but I can play him the first three weeks while I see how Ivory ans Murray are. I also want martellus Bennet just incase gronk gets hurt but I can't justify dropping any of my guys.    Overall I'm thrilled with my draft.

What ya think?

Is this ppr with a flex?

Standard,  with flex.

That's not bad for standard. Your wr are too thin imo. I'm kind of sold on Evans. But Watkins is a big injury risk. Funchess has a low ceiling and likely won't be a factor early on. Then two rookies. I'm fine taking a shot on one but two is very risky.

Yea i took the upside on Watkins.  Funchness from what I read looks awesome ans if Benjamin draws the number one cb just gives him an advatage.  It's wierd,  I never ever draft rookies but this year for some reason my board fell this way.

I was also a little skeptical of the WR position.

My thing with wrs,  so many pop up throughout the year that you can get off the waiver wire.

Well the panthers have a low volume offense. Benjamin and Ginn are starting Olsen is the number one target. Plus you have philly brown. There's no way this low volume pass offense can support all of them. Unless you are going to say Finchess outplays Benjamin which would take several weeks best case scenario.

Just a lottery pick.   But Bennet is on the waiver wire and that's very tempting

Yeah if there is a position I don't mind being weak at to start the season, it is WR due to being able to find them relatively easily. Depending on the rookies to step up which isn't a terrible strategy.

Would be on the lookout for another TE if a good one is out there. Gates is an ageless machine but it never hurts to be safe.

Also stream your defense every week unless the Jaguars really go on a tear.

Exactly.

I'm wanting to pick up Bennett,  would have to drop a wr obviously,  not sure who.  I think Coleman will see a lot of targets but then Gordon comes back.  Shepherd not sure of,  but from what I've read he's going to have a big role.  Funchess would be most likely cut to pick up Bennet.

I've always streamed defenses and it's worked out for the most part.

Yeah Bennett could be interesting in New England, some upside there. Always someone who emerges at TE during the season too.

Yeah streaming is nice. Don't have to spend a big pick on a top group and get productivity similar to a top group.

Someone in my league took Denver in the 5th...no joke.

Denvers D isn't going to be lights out like last year because their offense is going to be going 3 and out quite a bit

Would it surprise you to know that statistically in 1 QB fantasy leagues QB and D hold similar value?  So it's just as crazy to take Rodgers in the fifth. Hard to make your brain think that way since they are so important to real football.

I can easily see that.  In my leagues I'm usually always last to take a QB just because of the value that can be had late.   Our scoring is a little odd,  I didn't Mena to put standard scoring,  we have all the bonuses you can get.   It's just different

Sadly I wasn't around for my league's draft, and I left it to NFL.com's auto draft. Though I did make a few tweaks, mainly to exclude certain players from the drafting pool. That said, I did fairly well.:

QB: Rivers, and I need to pick up at backup since I didn't get one in the auto draft.

RBs: Ryan Matthews, Eddie Lacey, Isaiah Crowell, Melvin Gordon

WRs: the strength of my team, OBJ, Allen Robinson, Brandon Marshall, Travis Benjamin, Pierre Garcon

TEs: Antonio Gates, Martellus Bennett, and Jared Cook

Defens/special teams: Rams (need to grab a backup)

Kicker: Brandon McManus

In the nfl.com league I'm in, autodrafted sides always seem to do really well for some reason. I won the league last year with Frank Gore as my best drafted RB, so go figure.

I'm really happy with the team I ended up with this year (which means I'll end up bottoming out and picking in the top three):

QB: Blake Bortles

RB: Devonta Freeman, Matt Forte

WR: Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson

TE: Zach Ertz

R/W/T: Julian Edelman

D: Cardinals

K: Justin Tucker

Bench: Brandin Cooks, Mike Wallace, TJ Yeldon, Tevin Coleman, Charles Sims, Tim Hightower (who I cut about a week ago for Kenneth Dixon).

This year I got AP, Elliott and Shady McCoy autodrafted. Forgot about the draft.

Just tweaked the team to get West and drop C. Coleman.

Ben Roethlisberger
LeSean McCoy
Adrian Peterson
Jeremy Maclin
Keenan Allen
Jesse James
Ezekiel Elliott
Jameis Winston
Spencer Ware
Terrance West
Randall Cobb
Will Fuller
Breshad Perriman
Justin Tucker
Philadelphia Eagles

Bryant is a bit of a risk, though he could pay off. I'm sure he'll be Prescott's go to guy.

Is this a 10 team standard?  You don't and shouldn't carry back up QB or D until you need them.

If this is ppr I like your RB choices a lot. 12 team?
