I would like to see Joe play a series or two, even if he just hands off. I feel it wouldn't hurt to get him back on the horse, checking out a defense presnap and just getting a feel for the game. With shortened practices, shortened even more by injuries and shortened even more by lack of pre-season playing time is a recipe for turnovers IMO. You can only do so much against your own defense since they present no wrinkles, but an opponent will test you in ways your own teammates can't or won't.

Ah, he's been tested for eight years. Leave him alone. And even just handing off can get some clumsy lineman rolling around after the play rolling up on Joe's back leg and snap goes another ACL. Football involves risk but let's take it with the franchise QB when a game or season is on the line, not during a no-count pre-season game.

No need to rush Joe out there, maybe next week for 1 series. Suggs and Sr should wait as well no reason to move either quick. Next week figure to see anyone who is healthy for at least a series. Then the 4th game will be ALL 2nd string, 3rd and bubble. Ravens split the wins of 4 pre-season games, fine as long as they stay in the game and get lots of looks at the potentials. Colts could dominate tonight, they have a strong D and weapons on offense. Good test for the rookies and new comers.

Joe not playing. I could tell by reading the first sentence of the article. I hope he's playing the 3rd preseason game so he could get the rust off and be ready for the season plus playing for 3 quarters will give him a lot of reps if he's willing to do that.

just think,if HARB'S put them out there and they go down in a game that means nothing,he'd get alot of heat.
