Edgar Jones To Step In If....

Harbaugh says Edgar Jones is to fill the shoes of Suggs if he is unable to play Sunday...

Kind of thought McClain would get the go ahead if Suggs couldn't play. But I am praying Suggs is better by Sunday. Hopefully this is a strategy move that Harbs is doing to try and trick Pitts.

Although, I'm 100% sure if Suggs can play, he'll be dying to get out on that field.

I'm worried about Suggs too, Im not sure that Edgar Jones will bring the pressure that Suggs provides.I'm pretty much 100% positive Suggs will play, just not on every down. More like on crutial 3rd's

I agree, but don't you think its a little weird giving Edgar the go ahead, when he has been being used as a TE in practices? And has seen considerably less, if any playing time then McClain at LB???

Don't really understand this decision, but I'm sure Harbaugh and Rex have there reasons.

If you get a guy like McClain in there he makes plays all the time in the pass rush which is exactly what we need to do to Big Ben... I would like to see McClain start but i don't know how he does on run support

If were wishing, lets wish Suggs was healthy But yea I agree with the above posters that I think Id rather see either Jameel or Antwan rather than EJ... not tryin to knock EJ tho...

What about JJ? Think he'll be in on a lot more snaps now? And EJ/McClain filling in on some?

You're not sure ? you can't replace Suggs with another player , the other guys need to step up their games . Harbs is messing with the media , they will find some other tricks to get pressure on Ben . That o-line is so weak and penalty prone we should make it our biggest advantage .

I think either EJ or J.McClain will become the next Justin Tuck.
Young, unheralded pass rusher, then tears it up in the superbowl and is suddenly recognized as one of the games elite. They both have that kind of potential.
