Is Canady even still playing?

No ... I'm responding to an old post.

I don't take 40's into account, Moore's game speed is very fast. If you watch college film he was essentially Perriman with less drops. And if I recall correctly Perriman never had an official 40 time.

Scouts trust their hand times more than the combine times because the combine time starts on first movement, so a slight dip can prematurely start the clock.

Perriman does not have a hands problem. Many of his drops were him trying to turn upfield too quickly and just taking his eyes off the ball. Do an experiment where you watch a pass in and where you don't and you'll notice a vast difference in how well you catch.

Also, there is a big difference. One will just run right past whereas the other will have to use savvy route running, but not likely pick up yards after the catch

Perriman also played with a garbage QB when Bortles left. Imagine what he can do with Flacco

Not really. The leg injuries he has had shouldn't affect speed that much.

We really haven't seen much from Breshad at all, so I don't really get the hands argument. We pretty much know historically the correlation between bad hands in college and bad hands in the Pro's is practically non-existent.

I'm going off of college

Running sideways carches up to you after, awhile. Sometimes going North to South just makes sense, look for those early holes 28

Looked like a stretch run designed to go outside of the tackles on that one.  He definitely had some sideline to sideline issues on an earlier run, though.

Well the game will be replayed on the NFL Network on Tuesday at 4 to 7 AM, set ya DVR's!  Hopefully that will be with our announcers too, lol.

Right, and that would be a mistake in my opinion.

Lot of guys who couldn't catch a cold in college and caught everything in the Pros, and vice versa.

He didnt have bad hands at UCF at all. He made even most of the contested and difficult catches.

Yeah the hands issues are pretty overblown.

I am liking Canady too (and I'd suspect we'll be looking for him to be on the outside), but I think he's a ways away from being ready for prime time. Wright is OK ... but being just OK is a concern. We can't have 3rd and long be a 50-50 success rate for our opponents.

I agree with what you are saying those are the other options and Davis I believe is better than Wright

In defense of the NFL Network, there's many games being played tonight, and I think most NATIONAL viewers would rather see mostly starters out of the Chiefs/Rams than all backups and third stringers out of Ravens/Colts.

This is just nuts, the Rams vs. Chiefs game wasn't even supposed to start until 10 PM!  I am ticked! lol

Then how do you evaluate WR's in the draft... Show size?
