in receptions, yards, touchdowns or any combination? i wouldn't necessarily mind him leading in receptions considering he's a kind of move the chains reliable guy

That's on purpose, why would you kick a touchback in the preseason? You want to test your teams coverage.

That's what he's trying to do.  They want to test ST and the touchback now goes to the 25 yard line, so they want to make them return it.

I'm wondering the same thing. I hope so. It could very well be, since I'm sure we'd like to get a look at our special teams coverage.
