Not sure why the anyone would be so adamant about keeping the stinkng. pool pic. Certainly didn't help last year. And it's stale. but whatever......

By all means, offer a suggestion! Complaining about it won't do anything haha. Need consensus from The Flock.

So, moving on to actual football....What is everyone most looking forward to seeing in the 2nd preseason game.  Here are some things I am looking forward to: (Note:  I was unable to see the first game in Vermont, so some of this is going off of posts, notes, etc. about Game 1)  This game is being broadcast on NFL Network, so I am looking forward to actually being able to watch it.

Secondary play-Can they show they are ready to have a better performance than last time

Running backs--Does TWest keep flashing ability?  Does Forsett make a good performance to show why he is the starter?  Dixon or Allen show something to warrant more snaps?

Returner--Campanaro-does he continue to show he is in the lead?  Reynolds-Does he make a flashy play or 2 that shows he is worth more of a serious look?  Anybody else work there way into the conversation?

WR-Particularly looking forward to see what Moore can show in a game.

Oline--Can Stanley have another solid performance?  Do Urshel, Lewis, Wagner, etc. show good performances?

DL-Who can flash with some big plays, etc?

LB-Who can flash with some big plays, etc?

Are you originally from the Baltimore-Metro area?

Would love to see Campanaro do something in the game, and most importantly, not come away dinged up... Reynolds is intriguing - he has a nose for the endzone. Hope he shows up!

Stanley looks like a stud. Love watching him in the trenches.

I have a suggestion! Let's reverse-jinx. For example: Flacco is going to look like a bum, Yanda is washed, Suggs and Dumervil are a trash tandem, etc. Now of course, all of these suggestions are for the regular season.

I am not from the Baltimore area; however, my wife went to school in Baltimore and lived very close to the stadium for 4 years, which is how I started following the Ravens and fell in love with the team and have been a fan since.  I too am excited about Reynolds' potential, but he really needs to show he is dependable enough as a returner to give him a roster spot. (which is incredible to even imagine completely changing positions and being ready for the NFL immediately)  It will be interesting if he doesn't make the 53 man roster if someone else grabs him before we put him on our practice squad.

I still come to the game thread on Friday to check out the pic.  Some of us actually do like the pool pics, and I especially like when they are "enhanced".  Participating is an option.  You can choose not to if you wish...  or you can choose to do so.  The season hasn't even started yet.

I think you missed my point which was suggesting changing the tradition/good omen of a pool picture being the first post in the thread. In no way was I suggesting that folks not post pool pictures. The "pool pic first in the thread" thing and related discussion actually got a bit morbid last year and I thought after the bad fortune it was time for something new.  Again, no biggie!  Carry on.

Nope, I got it.  We just like it the way it is.  Last year is last year and was an anomaly.  It has always been a good thing. I was just noting that the 4 posts complaining about it are not the views of others....  That's all.  Folks can choose to participate or they can chose not to.

So will we see Joe for a series tonight? I'm torn. Part of me says wait till next week, why risk it. Another part says let him play a series or two to get his "sea legs".  Guessing he probably wants to play.

Should've been retired last season tbh. After the whole injury bug and the 5-11 season in convinced that It's cursed, lol.

im going to be looking out to see how jimmy smith does in the first couple of drives and how zach orr is getting on then further into the game im looking out to see if willie henry and matt judon flash again and see if chris moore can get into the game

I really want to see Moore tonight. He owned William Jackson 3 and Eli Apple past season. I've got high hopes for that man, if only he could work on his routes.
