18 posts in this topic

With Terrell Suggs and Steve Smith Sr. returning to the field, the Ravens feel ‘complete’ again. Suggs said the Ravens are starting to feel like the Ravens again, not the 5-11 team from a year ago.

Sizzle makes us who we are. He is the last Ravens gladiator left standing! We have to cherish him and make sure he pushes his team to new defensive heights.

He is the last one that ties back to the legacy of great defenses in Baltimore. I hope the young guys like Correa, Judon, Orr, Henry, Young, and Brooks can continue to show they can accept the torch once it is time to pass. For now, Sizzle seems motivated and that's a good thing for the Ravens. For other teams.., not so much.

We are the Ravens and we will be back to dominating AFC North rivals. Get those Bengals first off. I don't worry so much about the Steelers anymore. Ben can't finish a season and Bell keeps getting hurt or suspended. Go Ravens!

What was Suggs gonna say? He's the Team Leader now and was doing his pep talk job with a young team. We were 12-4 in 2011 and 10-6 in 2012, with a team still heavy in pro bowlers.

If Webb can play at high level at safety (he'll probably still play some cb on obvious passing downs) I think the defense could surprise some people. Assuming better 3rd down coaching as well.

An improved pass rush is what will help our secondary the most

You have to dig his enthusiasm. I'm excited to see how we evolve in the last stages of our evolution before the season starts.

Those old farts will not be the ones screwing up this year but they will get blamed for the linebackers

with that schedule,we have no excuse but to go 12-4 and with this talent, anything short of that would be very disapointing.

Im pretty optimistic but be prepared to be disappointed.  It is possible that we go 12-4 but not very likely at all.  Just because a team was bad the year before....doesn't mean they will be this year.  Not saying lower your standards, but realistic expectations would be better for your sanity.

The schedule is more difficult than most Ravens Fans think it is. The third game of the year in Jacksonville is going to be tough. A number of pundits are picking them to make the playoffs. The next week we have Oakland at home. They are also one of the more improved teams and picked to make the playoffs. Don't want to overlook the season opener against the Bills along with going to Cleveland week two. ALL road games in the NFL are a challenge. The formula, along with my call....Ravens hopefully find a way to win 4 on the road and go 6-2 at home for a 10-6 record.......and yes, another playoff game on the road.
The AFC North is NOT the AFC East where the Pats all but insure themselves of home field advantage most years.
