The Ravens quarterback hasn’t pulled himself out of a single rep during training camp. He says his knee feels good while he’s on the field, but he does have some soreness and it’s not 100 percent.

On one hand i get he has plenty of games under his belt, but on the other, it is so important to get in tune with this WR corp, as we don't know where we really stand aside from Aiken, and Wallace, we have many spots up for grabs, with SSS return to from being a unknown....Practice reps as we all know is not the same as game reps, and then real season reps....I feel he needs the work in pre-season games to start getting in sync with his WR corp, as the speed ramps up a notch from practice to pre-season games....JMO...

He should play at least a half of the 3rd game and none of the 4th. Like the article stated, the 4th pre-season game features bubble guys going all out to make the squad.

I would like to see him play a series or two this week, if Morre, Wallace, and Aiken are good to go, he needs to work, as i see those three right now as the starters, and to get work with our awesome TE corp...

Yes Aiken and Wallace are starters, at least for now, but Moore will need to put on a good showing to earn a starting position as a rookie. Most likely that last starting gig will go to either Butler, Matthews, or Campanaro. IHMO that is the current pecking order.

I expect Moore to get lots of reps to see what he can do, but it will take some time for him to learn all the routes and get the timing down.

It will be interesting though because once SSSr returns and Perriman that whole depth chart at WR will likely change.

i should have it made it more clear, as i see Moore as the 2nd best deep threat on the depth chart, until Perriman shows....That kid Dobson we picked up didn't look bad, and he is another good siezed WR....Camp is made of glass, so who knows how long he can stay on the field, and i am a Matthews fan...

I always thought it would be best to play the rookies most of the time the first 2 games to see who will make the team and then break in the regs in the final 2 games, that way they will actually be ready to start the season, as it is now, most teams aren't season ready until the 3rd game.

This is the first I have heard of Joe's knee being in pain after a workout. Apparently it's been like this all along. Be ready for him to miss some time in the regular season as these things can have a way of flaring up after a few games. Good thing they have Mallett as backup and that he did well last week as well as last year. Also a good thing that Joe is not letting his ego get in the way of prudently managing his injury. It's easy to re-damage joints during the healing process when you play too soon or too much. We've seen many players throughout the NFL and other sports re-injure themselves when they returned too quickly or demanded too much from their body too early in their recovery. Go slow, Joe. You've got many playing years ahead of you if you are unable to get fully into this season as I'm sure you're tempted to do.

That caveat keeps coming up in his interviews, feels good but it's definetly not 100%. Starting to worry me a little bit.

Troy Smith went down Joe Flacco introduced us to his arm Joe Flacco is recovering and Ryan Mallet beat the squeelers and he showed up against the panthers! Hmmmmmmm this is gonna get very interesting because the only position suspect in my book is at QB! Our QB needs to healthy legs to survive in this division alone!
