Terrell Suggs said there’s ‘nothing like’ being on the field with his teammates. Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees is hoping Suggs can stay out there, or the Ravens may have to adjust again.

There's this uneasy feeling that so far the camp has been surprisingly merciful on the Ravens - much more good news than bad ones, and no real bad news to talk about... The uneasiness of this is that I can't help thinking there will be one nasty plot twist before Week#1...

Let's hope fate doesn't think with a playwriter's head...

Im at ease with the notion that we've been unmercifully punished the past two years by injury.

Hoping we've got all our bad karma out of the way, and its smooth sailing from here on out. I mean, injuries are to be expected and they happen to every team every year.

I just hope we dont land 12 starters on the IR like last year. Keep the key pieces healthy and we'll be ready to compete.

Ease him into the rotation. Sizzle is the ultimate Raven and the coaches ought to trust his judgment on his own recovery. If he doesn't feel like he can go a particular day, then he ought to be rested that day. We have enough depth that we can do it.

He will at some point need to get reps in a pre-season game, just like Flacco, they really need to see if their Knee in Flaccos's case, and Sugg's Achilles can hold up against live action.....Also i think the FO did a great job of drafting and bringing in pass rushers, for the just in case......

Yeah, we had no depth behind Suggs, and Doom after losing McPhee. To expect a 4th Round Rookie and patchwork players to hold down what Suggs brings to the table was impossible. Now we have a healthy rotation of rushers, which we should always have in this pass happy league.

This, we have paid our dues, I guess for Rahim Moore?? I thought the two special teams TDs for Denver would of cancelled that out, or the power outage. We shouldn't owe any karma, we still need some against the Bengals, they robbed us with OPI in 2005 with Todd Heap and in 2014 with Steve Smith.

give the younger guys most of the reps to keep suggs fresh. hopefully doom can get back to basically passing downs to make him more effective. i am definitely excited to watch these younger guys perform. stay healthy!!

IMO this will be more mental for them. The surgical technologies today makes their injured limbs STRONGER then the used to be. he mental part will be the toughest.

I absolutely agree. If Suggs fells like he needs a day off here and there then he should get it. Except Suggs has regularly came back early from each of his previous 3 injuries. It was a pleasant surprise but some people around here chritisezed his play when he shouldn't have even been on the field.

An achilis doesn't get 100 percent for 18 months so our coaching staff may need to force Suggs to take it easy. We would like to have him play every snap but realistically he won't be close to 100 percent until playoff time. Same goes with SSS.

limit their snaps until the 4th quarters and then let them go full on as the playoffs near.

Although I've been a PSL owner since the beginning, today was my first visit to practice at the Castle. I was impressed not only by the efficiency and infrastructure provided for the fans, but more importantly, the treatment of the fans. I own only one PSL for my seat in the upper deck end zone, so I'm not a high-roller. But the Ravens treated me like a valued guest this morning. The SAFE people seemed genuinely happy to see me. Every fan received a Ravens cooling towel and cold water bottles were delivered constantly to fans (free of  charge) in the bleachers. It was clear that the Ravens value their fans. It's great to root for this first class organization. Thanks Ravens!

So glad he's back. With the depth we have at OLB, we can ease Suggs back into things. At least for the early part of the season, he should only come in on passing downs, the only thing is Suggs is just as good of a run defender as he is a pass rusher. We seen Thursday that the rookies/young guys can get to the QB, but I don't yet know how good they are at defending the run, so Suggs may have to come in more if they struggle, but other than that our depth should really help Suggs AND Doom out this year.

It's so nice to see Sizzle back. It feels like Football again with him out there. His presence alone will motivate the young guys, and I'm sure his leadership was greatly missed.

Judon ,Dixon, and Hnery were my picks after the draft, as far as mid to high drafted players to make a impact, but so far almost all who played Thursday really looked great. This rook class by far has exceeded my expectation, as the transition from college to pro is a lot to take on...Also helped with some guys being out, that they all got a ton of reps in OTA's and camp....And the 2nd and 3 year players are looking good....Will be some tough cuts this year....JMO....

The defensive players will be even more amp'd up god wiling Suggs can go a full season. But just in case he does go down again, I have a feeling that our guys are ready for it. And will bring even more intensity if he goes down.

I think Young is ready to make an instant impact as well. Probably our best slot cb already. I think he can return. And I doubt he'll get a lot of chances at it but I wouldn't be surprised if he can play well outside too. I expect Dixon and Henry to be beast right away this year as well. I think Judon might need a little more grooming than those two, but he might be my favorite pick of our spot. draft spots considered and all

Suggs and Dumervil will face younger speed and greater strength by opponents. The Ravens are rebuilding their defense, albeit slowly. Do not be bamboozled by the headlines, rather mark the yardage lines the defense yields.

BULL! Suggs and Dumervil have seen it all . They will be the stars of this team. Ravens Linebackers and secondary will be the issue this season.
