Still hoping he can turn things around health wise. At this point his window keeps getting smaller. Hopefully the soft tissue injuries are not a continuing theme.

Camp makes the team out of the gate. If/when he goes down with another injury Waller or someone from the PS will take his place.

Well waller couldn't take his place until week 5 so I think it would be a guy like butler and we would just have to use Webby or somebody else at the PR position and just be cautious until we figure out a long term solution. I've really got no problem with Webby doing it all year..all we need is somebody to catch the damn ball. Half the time it will go out of bounds or be a fair catch anyway.

Campanaro would be ideal and he should feel the pressure but I don't think anybody like Reynolds is threatening to take his job..hes just not ready. If camps healthy its his and if not we just go with another receiver like Butler or Mathews and throw Webby back to catch the kicks. That's the way I see it anyway.

Man I really like the guy and I think he could be good but we all know the story here. If I have to choose and am only allowed one guy to be injury free between him and Pita I'll take Pita given his insane chemistry with the QB.

Campanaro's nick name should be tweak, since he is always tweaking something that keeps him off the field. Copy and paste that to a clip board because that's a recurring theme with him Campanaro on the bench again with another tweak, soft tissue injury!!!!

I don't think anyone thinks that is actually a competition - pitta isn't going anywhere, if camp is fighting anyone it is butler or Matthews

We all know how nice he could be if he stayed on the field, but I can't help but to not be too optimistic at the fact he returned to practice today. It's great he's back, but he'll probably just 'tweak' something next week. I really do hope i'm wrong though, he could make a big impact on the team... but.... it's always a what if with him

I do too, in theory, but you have to be able to field the ball 100% of the time. I just think that aspect of it is scary. If Camp isn't able to stay healthy and be the return guy, I think you'll see Webby taking about any punt that will be received within our own 30 yard line and call fair catch pretty much every time. We can't afford muffs ... they are the kinds of things that lose games.

He's WAY too valuable imo. I think Dixon is our best all around rb. I know I'll get bashed for saying that since he's a rook and hasn't played yet but I really think that. He's a more intense and versatile version of Frank the Tank Gore. A trio or Forsett West and Dixon will be awesome. Not too stoked on Buck.
As for Camp. Can't wait to watch him make plays on st and offense. If he can stay on the field for us...he will play that Jacoby Jones difference maker role from 2012. Returning kicks and making big plays short and long in the passing game. Esp going against everyone's 3rd and 4th db. Do everything you gotta do to stay healthy Camp. We're looking forward to watching you help us win

Not sure we can trust Waller to receive punts. That pick that bounced off his hands last week was very concerning. If he plays well in the remaining preseason games without a muff maybe one can begin thinking about it. But am skeptical Campanaro stays healthy enough to make the plays to make the team.

I agree, I just meant in terms of our bad injury luck, if hypothetically we got to pick one to stay healthy for the year id choose Pita.

not that i dont want this to be the case but how can you say that after about 8 snaps in one preseason game against 3rd stringers?

What are the chances that you are a troll: 100%

Even your prediction doesn't make any sense. Campanaro has played 4 games the past two seasons(should have been more last year, but he was put on IR to bring in another player rather then waiting for him to recover), but you have playing 3 games. Gillmore played in 15 games his rookie season and 10 last season, where the hell did you get 5 from? The guy gets once serious injury and suddenly he is injury prone? Its anyone's guess with Perriman will do, but I know as soon as he gets hurt again, be it a concussion, foot injury, or a broken hand, fans will blame Ozzie and claim that he shouldn't have drafted a guy that gets injured.

My statement and opinion has 0 % to do with the first preseason game. It's based off studying him before and after the draft. And comparing that assessment to the other backs on the team. Obviously these are opinions right now and not facts, for both sides. But I think Dixon will make his point in a hurry once the year begins
