i hate when people say this, i really do. 

its just a way of speaking about the team you claim. the fanbases do the trashtalking, hence the "we", being the fanbase. no need to be condescending, obviously we arent claiming to be a NFL player.

I'm with ya. I use "we" all the time and I'm well aware that I'm not a professional football player for the Baltimore Ravens.

Yep!  I'm the fan that says....

"My" Ravens....as if I own the team.

"Our" offense or defense look good or played poorly....as if I'm on the coaching staff.

"We" did our thing in that win....or "We" have to play better in that loss.....as if I'm on the team.
